Hot toys Jack Sparrow & Will Turner

Oh thank the lord that I canceled my 'ordinary' Jack order! Money is tight for me, so If I 'm going to fork out such a large amount of dosh I'd actually want something that at least looks like Jack, and in 'cannibal Jack' I feel they've succeeded. I just love it!

As others here before me have said not so keen on 'smiling Jack', somehow the likeness seems lost in it for what ever reason.

I'm not that bothered about not having the hat of coat, so for me I'll probably get 'Cannibal Jack' and repaint his face to get rid of the make-up. Yeah, it's heresy I know, but I'm not that fussed with the headdress etc, however beautifully it's done. I just want a really nice expressive sculpt of Jack, and in this version I think they have finally succeeded.

Jack looks great and I think I will be getting into this line but is Jack the mystery figure, or are we still possibly going to get Jones?

I guarantee it. HT is really going all out to show their dominance in 1/6 figures, their likenesses are getting better and better with each figure, they are creating unique bodies for certain figures instead of easily recycling and they are really pumping them out. They have challenged themselves with the Predalien, they already gave us the Power Loader, Davy Jones at least IMHO doesn't seem like that difficult of a task to complete concerning all that they've done.

Damn,I love all this new stuff Hot Toys is putting out but it's almost too much at once!!!

And with seeing the level of detail on these figures and a lot of other ones HT has put out recently...I think Hot Toys is now topping Sideshow on head sculpts...HT goes right down to the skin pores!!!

Jack and Will both will likely be around $130, especially with Jack having the fake fethers and not molded plastic.

These are 'must haves' especially Jack, I think theres a lot of confidence in this line and remain quietly confident we'll get Davy eventually, maybe even a cursed Jack.

Will Turner is a must have for POTC completists. I'm not, so I can't really see paying $130 for him when that money could be spent on multiple LOTR, SW or Indy figures that would rank higher than him in the "cinematic coolness" scale.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting that Jack. I'm trying to see if I can get the first one for Christmas. Davy and a Barbossa would be musts for me, but outside them and Jack I don't think I will be getting anyone else because of the high prices. If they were Sideshow figures, I'd be able to afford them all.

Man, I'm actually considering Will. I say that HT head sculpts have been getting way better than Sideshow's. They're very life-like.
