Hot Toys Jedi Luke

Endor Luke is not a con exclusive.

They're not going to re-release a figure with a new accessory and call it a show exclusive.

Their show exclusives have been brand new figures, whole figures, that wouldn't sell well as a general release.

Deluxe Luke fits right in with the plan they've followed lately, with Deluxe Jyn having the helmet and poncho. If the Endor parts are available, it'll be in Deluxe, not a con exclusive.

Give the people hope. You need to change your name to SwedishHope.

I'm thinking that Jedi Luke will indeed include it all. Similar in setup to Tatooine Luke release but at a higher price-point, of course...

Palace Guard pistol
Rancor Pit bone
Endor Poncho
Endor Helmet
Assortment of gloved and ungloved (as well as blaster damaged) hands

That would actually be a great set. All that plus the green lightsaber and this version of Luke would be amazing. Really hoping we see this by May the 4th.

Me too! If Hot Toys do go down the deluxe route (regardless of whether the Endor gear is included as part of it or not), then I'm in!! Usually I am satisfied with just getting the regular versions but in the case of this figure I'd happily pay the extra and make an exception.

Would people really hide that terrific black Jedi Luke outfit with an Endor poncho and helmet? I think for two-minutes of dress up and a picture. But 99.99% of people here will no doubt be posing their Jedi Luke in his black uniform with the Emperor and Vader. I see no other permanent display unless you buy multiples... and then it doesn't matter if the Endor is a separate offering.

What matters is how long you will have to wait and wonder if an endor version will ever be made. On the plus side you likely get different sculpts with multiple releases, and maybe an improved sculpt down the line. My guess is there is a deluxe and a regular here but we don't get anything endor. The regular is the DS version and deluxe includes the jabba's palace stuff.

But......If we do get endor stuff scout troopers can't be too far off

The black outfit is just so awesome, it would criminal not to have it on display! Love that look!

I'd love Luke to look like this. I had this poster on my wall as a kid ! And was one cover of the picture book version of ROTJ I think. Awesome !

Wish I could find a pic of Chacala's (or however he spells his name) Jedi Luke custom. That looks great. HT only need to do theirs as good as that and we'll be fine.

The search function on this forum is very lame by the way ! Doesn't find anything.

I agree, if there is only one I think it will be gloved. I just would love to have the option to display either, and this is an iconic look...

I hope so. But they have 4 figures to choose from to PO on May 4th. So Luke has a 25% chance.

PLUS -- HT is notorious for not doing anything on anniversaries, blu ray releases, etc. So who the hell knows if they'll do anything for 5-4 beyond a nice picture on their Facebook site.

The whole "May the 4th" gag doesn't translate in China.

Yeah, if offering a deluxe is the way to get more accessories and outfit options, then shoots! And like TonTon I actually would use the Endor look. My favorite parts of ROTJ are at Endor, Home One, the battles, the environment, etc.

I'd put my money on the Emperors guard for May 4th as they showed him clearly had him on display. Plus no head sculpt.
