Would people really hide that terrific black Jedi Luke outfit with an Endor poncho and helmet? I think for two-minutes of dress up and a picture. But 99.99% of people here will no doubt be posing their Jedi Luke in his black uniform with the Emperor and Vader. I see no other permanent display unless you buy multiples... and then it doesn't matter if the Endor is a separate offering.

One reason I buy 1/6 figures over statues is for the option of changing poses and accessories to achieve multiple looks with the same product. 1/6 figures gives the option for no single "permanent display" option. Granted, there are several figures I rarely repose when I get them into that one look I may favor over any other, but still, there are a few I like to redo from time to time. For instance, Farmboy Luke is one of them. I like the hat, goggles and poncho look and will set him up that way sometimes. Other times I have him without it but switch out the belts between the regular and Stormtrooper version. So I can see myself reposing Jedi Luke with different costume pieces even more so. I'll admit I think the top three options will be with cloak (like in Jabba's palace), without cloak but with vest (like the battle on the sail barge) and without the vest (like the final duel), but I can also see me setting him up in Endor gear with his lightsaber in front of a Speederbike too, or maybe even riding it. Believe me, if these things are included, they will get used and I won't have Jedi Luke in a single "permanent display" pose.

I almost agree, except for the fact that some people will want to display him on a speeder bike.

Good point about the outer cloak. Originally he was going to be wearing that on tatooine I think.

I thought he lost it in the rancor pit and that was why he didn't have it the rest of the film. Looking back on ROTJ, if Lucas really wanted to create some tension, maybe having Luke rescue everyone by using dark side powers would have played out better, it certainly would have made for a more interesting end of the film.

Yeah, for anyone with a speeder that Endor gear would be a must, good opportunity to breathe some new life into that purchase.

Yeah, if offering a deluxe is the way to get more accessories and outfit options, then shoots! And like TonTon I actually would use the Endor look. My favorite parts of ROTJ are at Endor, Home One, the battles, the environment, etc.

Did I say that? I don't even remember. :lol

But I would definitely order a deluxe if it had the Endor helmet and poncho. If the helmet is made it does likely indicate that he would have removable hair, which (good or bad given the possibility of a visible seam) would make another hair piece a possibility as well.

I like how Figurarts had an aggressive expression for the wind blown Luke sculpt.

Don't forget the custom "Rogue One" Rebel figure that would benefit from the Endor helmet...

Ohh wait a minute that was The Green Goblin that said that. Sorry haha but I was agreeing with him that I would use the Endor outfit. But, maybe you might've said that too at one point. Endor ain't too bad right? :p

That's one thing I like about the Figuarts Luke, the wind swept hair. It would be nice if HT could incorporate that as a swappable hair piece.

This figure is one I could see myself owning multiples of if not just to get my two favorite looks. Sail barge and final duel.

The extra accessories would help since I already have a custom Luke and could at least take some pics with Endor gear or on a speeder.

Having enough room and wanting more than I can display is my kryptonite.

Jedijim, the collecting authority has stated that you already have too many Lukes, and must therefore forfeit the upcoming Jedi Luke. Sorry.:dunno

:rotfl :goodpost: :rotfl

How many collectors would be in trouble if they applied this to Iron Man?

haha...

There is enough stuff for a DX release:

- two different headsculpts (closed eyes?) or at least hair wigs.
- clothes with 3 layers: Jabba's palace, Sail barge, Throne room.
- lit green lightsaber.
- gloved and ungloved hands

A lot of different options for Exclusives:

- burnt hand
- Rancor pit bone
- Jabba's palace gun
- Endor helmet and poncho
- levitating lightsaber (effect done with a hidden thread)

This fig really has the possibility of being the best SW release in years. Jeez, I hope they nail the headsculpt/s (or at least have one "totally nailed" headsculpt like HT Yoda's closed eyes head).

Regarding hair pieces, I'd say one regular and one wind blown to acheive this look:

Would be even better if it was two different sculpts, one with that precise expression. Even better if it was two different sculpts, one with that expression, with interchangeable hair pieces so that way you can have a DS throne room look with a battling expression.

Another accessory option for an EX could be a detachable Vader mask and helmet.

Ultimately the best news is that Luke Jedi Knight be the next model in the DX range :lol We have been waiting so impatiently !
