I checked my bank account this morning. I had money going out on June 2nd for a 'SOAPY SAMS'.
It turned out it was for my Soap Reactor cables for Cyborg. Just a warning out there for anyone else that might get caught out with such a dodgy name on a bank statement especially if you have joint accounts with your significant others.

I found a second loose piece in the box like the one everyone’s mentioning, and it looks like the instructions indicate that they’re intended to hide the female slots for thrusters that go there, i.e., on each the side of the upper torso just south of the armpits. Most of the time those slots are concealed by the arms. I haven’t bothered to pop them in. Also I’m a bit concerned they’ll easily fall out and I’ll lose them!

Here are a few pics of my Cyborg

I am glad that this figure came out much better than I expected when I ordered him quite a while ago. I think he does look his best/most dynamic when his lights are on but since I was only taking him out to have a look then put him back in storage I didn’t want to bother with the lights yet.

Her really looks great! Got mine last week, and almost off-ed myself trying to get all those batteries installed!

I actually gave up on reconnecting the battery covers in his arm cannons. I could either get the screw screwed in on the covers OR get the plastic pieces that you have to remove to get to the battery compartments back on. NEVER BOTH. What a nightmare.

But my makeshift reassembly worked and he looks great. Just hope those batteries don't shake loose!

They are very fiddly. I remember thinking that if I had to use batteries I'd never bother to do it.

Yeah, I had the same problem with the screw not threading into the hole for the battery compartment of the helmeted head. It just would not align, evidently. Strange, because it came intact and I did unscrew the cover to get the batteries in! There was nothing to be done about it, though. I just fitted the cover back on best I could without screwing it in and popped the plate for the back of the head on.

For the arm cannon battery compartments, I guess one could use blu tack to try to hold the batteries?

I found that to get the screws back in I would replace the plate as expected and then apply some force to the side of the thread with the screwdriver tip toward the plate itself to line it up. Got all of them back in this way.

I spent a good 20 minutes applying as much pressure as I could muster while also fiddling with angle of pressure, etc., and it just would not catch. For that compartment it worked out fine, though, because the backplate holds everything together, and the head doesn’t get radical poses, etc.
