^^^exactly, but my favorite part of him is the pattern on his noggin' its so distinct in comparison to any of the current Preds.

I'm a little surprised here. IMO, the Lost Predator may well have a shoulder cannon; from the side shots, it looks like the rear chest armour is identical to the basic P2 figure - this could explain why HT aren't worried about showing it off.

If that is the case, the Lost Hunter has a spear, cannon, staff, and disc - as much weaponry as the 'hero' Predator. Oh, and an inhuman skull trophy too. In what way is this 'underarmed'?

Actually, I'm much happier that they added the combi-stick/spear. I guess most of us jsut assume that wrist blades, bomb, and shoulder cannons are standard Pred hunting gear

Looks like he comes with a few more different hands than the previous preds, a great addition. The only problem is....how to display him....bio on, bio off with open mandibles, or closed mandibles I'm happy to see Hot Toys made this pred with these options instead of raping our wallets again!

The most iconic Predator moment for me is always the moment in the first movie when he removes his Bio Helmet and screeches at Arnold, mandibles wide open. That's why I've been so eager to buy the second versions of Pred 2 and Wolf so I can have those moments again on the shelf. So anytime I can display a Pred with mandibles open and fierce, I'll do it.

Love your fustration pic bro!! I think you're right, bio off mandibles open is the way to go on this predator! He will look pretty good next to my BD P2 with mandibles open & P2 Elder!! Can't wait for this one!!! I ordered mine from Toys2, I always get my preds about a month before SSC gets theirs.

I couldn't agree more, and that's exactly why I hope HT knocks it out clean out of the park with the iconic "roaring head" version of the P1 we all know is coming...one of these days. They've had plenty of practice with P2 and Wolf, and based on the impressive results, I expect that P1 to be the very best of all, period.

Btw, if you still haven't gotten at least one of the optional open mandible variant versions of P2 or the Wolf yet, do yourself a favor and snag one, you will not be disappointed! They're both tons 'o fun to pose and for shooting those movie-like action pics.

...Back on topic, the fact that HT is actually going to make one of the Lost Hunters... (and Borg, no less), is still something I'm struggling to accept as "really real", but I've just seen the pics, so it's gotta be true!

This just keeps getting better and better. I may be nuts, but "Borg" is one of my favorite Preds of all, and that armour alone makes snagging one of these a no-brainer for me...looks like another easy sale for ABC!
