So what, exactly, isn't "accurate" about this figure? It wasn't obvious to me at the end of the movie...

in the movie, it didn't have a helmet or the staff. those are from 2 other preds in that scene.
Hot Toys just added them to this figure, presumably, because they don't intend to make the others.
so, this one kind of becomes an "all inclusive lost pred" with elements which represent the rest of its clan.

plus it would make a pretty borimg figure with no accessories. i think we may see one more but i woudnt be bothered if we didnt. this pred dosent turn me on that much apart.

i think it looks awesome as it is. out of all the lost preds, this is the coolest one after the elder. that cybernetic stuff on him is badass.
as for accessories, i'd rather it come with more skulls from the trophy wall than some stuff it didn't have.
the only reason HT added the extra stuff is to jack up (or justify) the price as much as possible.

I don't know, seems like you may be jumping to conclusions. Hot Toys probably just wanted to make sure customers didn't feel like the company was being cheap. People want accessories, after all, and just because he didn't have the helmet or staff in that particular scene doesn't mean he wouldn't have otherwise...

I certainly don't disagree with you there, but I can see why Hot Toys wanted to add a helmet and weapon, too. Even if he wasn't using it in the scene, I could see why they'd want to include them. I mean, a Pred needs his weapons and gear, after all.

well, if you don't care about it looking like the movie, then i suggest collecting the Kenner figures instead. those have lots of crap that wasn't in the movie.

Sorry, no Kenner figures for me. Kenner=Crap!!! I just want more weapons from HT.

If this is, and I take it that it will be part of the MMS, then I hope they stick to keeping things as reasonably screen accurate as possible.
But having seen Machiko, I would also love to see the R+D team at HT given free range for an EU set of Preds, as long as it comes after the main characters are all soughted!

Then make one. But don't tact one on. Would you be cool with buying a P2 and getting a Wolf bio + AVP Spear? They gave Borg a bio from a different Lost Hunter and a Spear from another. imo HT should have just taken creative liberty with this Pred (since he didn't have a bio or weapon in P2) and just created a bio specifically for Borg that stayed in line with his chest armor + maybe a repainted P2 spear with the same type of "Borg" design. I think most people would've liked that more because imo people were cool with the idea of him coming with no Bio or weapons to begin with. It's a mix really.. some people like that they'll be getting the Boar bio and Hippie spear.. for kit bashing etc. but imo I think people would've been cool with JUST more trophy wall skulls aswell. You can't please everyone I guess. I personally have no interest in this or any other Lost Hunter because from my POV they're all P2 rehashes as I've mentioned previously. But I understand the want and demand for them. So I'd say it's a win/win situation.

Plus they should've made ALL his armor Black.

Just weird that this + Machiko + the human characters from Predator are coming out BEFORE the first Predator.

I don't think people are complaining about the extras they'll be getting with this Pred or asking for HT or any other company to not include extras. It's more like questioning WHAT extras they'll be getting and why. I don't think anyone would've been happy with JUST the Borg Pred + a box. It's just the wonky decisions to omit or add certain items to a figure can be confusing sometimes.

i just visited that website to see if they are selling the lost pred at a lower price than this other store i was gonna get it from, and it says 144.99 for preorder, but when its in stock the actual price is 130.99?, do most stores have this money deposit on pre-orders?
