definitely my friend. i also have that as well, the story is very captivating. it was a very expensive book to purchase too.

I agree, it's an extremely captivating story, worthy of the big-screen treatment IMO. I was lucky enough to have a nurse friend that I worked with give me the "Absolute Authority" for my birthday one year,:yess: it was also her way of thanking me for introducing her to the comic world. Once she had a taste of Mignola's Hellboy it was all over and she was hooked.:panic: But who can blame her really, right?

If that's the case, bring it on!

It's tonight or tomorrow. I'd think tonight, since, most of the time, they go up on Wednesday nights, but I'm wondering if they won't make an exception so that it coincides with the release of the movie.

Its always fun when we get to the point in a 'teaser' thread where people just shout-out "tomorrow or the next day" every day or two 'til they're accidentally right.

If I'm wrong, I'll shut up, but I genuinely think that this is what they've been waiting for.

I say we will not see anything now until SDCC. Who knows, it might not end up being the hit people were thinking it might be. It's down to 64% on Rottentomatoes now. Maybe Hot Toys is making sure they don't have another Green Lantern on their hands. My friend saw it last night and said it was ok. Not a ringing endorsement.

No way. read my post from earlier.

:exactly: HT knows that figures from newer movie licenses like Man of Steel/ Iron Man 3 etc. sell better if shown while there is still a ton of hype. No one would give a **** about these figures if they show them a few months from now. (other than the hardcore Superman fans)

Did the turd that was G.I. Joe: Retaliation, keep Hot Toys from releasing multiple figures from that line?

Good point DBOK!! And they actually brought their A-Game for Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow. There is hope!

Hot Toys will make them for sure but if the movie flops they don't necessarily need to spit them out during the hype

Then they absolutely need to crank them out during the hype. How many people do you think would buy a Green Lantern figure now as opposed to a few days before the movie was released?

I don't know. I wasn't on these forums then but I didn't hear any hype about the movie at all so I would have to guess that there would only be a slight difference? If I compared it to the GI Joe or the Expendables, I think that Man of Steel will guarantee sales regardless of when they show them. When is SDCC anyway?
