Examples??? I know Avatar has kinda gone that way, but there's been movement there right? Maybe Matrix and The Watchmen but we got at least a couple of things from those.
I'll be devastated if they don't release this figure but the big issue is clearly the r&d and engineering required to get this thing screen accurate vs functional. It was a CG suit afterall.
I guess some things in 1/6 are even beyond HT...

yeah but then you have everyone here's demands to make it absolutely accurate and have tony stark in a race suit as well...
which would be awesome but i think it probably lowers the chance of us getting it or at least slows down the process.

I'm surprised we haven't seen anymore pics of this armor beyond the initial proto release. makes me wonder what surprise HT is planning under their bunker.

You guys do realize that the Mark I was announced way way after the original Mark III right? The Mark IV has just been released with the Mark VI still to follow. It is way too early to say that the V has been cancelled. I can't imagine Hot Toys doing that with how the Iron Man franchise has been doing...this isn't the Watchmen we are talking about here. Sorry Watchmen fans but Iron Man is way way more popular globally. Rorschach (cancelled figure) << Mark V (definite figure)
