Ugh, to me, the Play Arts Kai figures (with those horrible thighs!) are just as bad representations of MGS as the McFarlane figures.

Well they're stylised. I think grey fox and Solidus are the most faithful overall, except Foxs colour.
Its just Snakes god aweful face. I don't see whats soo hard for them to make a decent SolidSnake figure!

Some figures seem okay, but overall I haven't seen many Play Arts Kai figures I like. Though they did okay with Cloud Strife. I prefer S.H. Figuarts and D-Arts stuff from Bandai. They seem more faithful than stylized. I'm just not much for stylized stuff I guess. I mean.. you can't top Shinkawa in my mind.

In a way I kind of like The Boss's sculpt even if it doesn't look anything like how she looks in the game. She's a rough woman and of course she isn't a supermodel, she looks like any other woman in their early 40s.
I may even end up choosing her over Naked Snake since I don't like that sneaking suit he wears. I want a damn Tiger Stripe camo Snake.
I wish someone would zip up her outfit already.

Looking forward to seeing if the suit can zip up all the way, the uniboob is what ruins it for me
Different hair, the bandanna headband, etc... why even do it? I feel like it would be more productive to just have someone sculpt you one and do a group commission for it. I'm sure plenty of us would be interested.

I'd buy The Boss mainly for her suit, the rest needs a lot of work, a new sculpt and a better body.

Dunno.. My "go to" sculptor (Francis Lerma), who sculpted some good Naked Snake & Solid Snake customs for me, is still clearing a very long backlog.

yeah i think im gonna make the boss get broken in hells angel style by my other figs. thats the only way she can join the group. shell be the first of many female figures that will be initiated into my collection this way.
