SSC has her listed as "processing" in my account info.

The "Processing" status doesn't mean anything much. It's just an acknowledgement that SSC received your order and placed it into their corporate system, 24 hours after checkout. However, when your credit card is about to be charged, the status will change to something like, "Shipping soon. Contact to cancel".

I thought this thread needed a bump, since people are starting to receive their Naked Snake figures.

If only "The Boss" figure's head-sculpt looked more like the picture below, it would have been an instant-buy for me .

I love that woman! Im still sad they went the opposite direction and did a WWE sculpt.

I don't get how when Yoji Shinkawa was on hand to approve the sculpt, but then again he did approve the sculpt for MGS4 Snake and Play Arts Solid Snake :S

I didn't like either figure at first, but the OMG picture review of Naked Snake changed my mind, and he'll be arriving Thursday. My gf ordered The Boss for me for Christmas yesterday, and I'm hoping the lack of recent info or new pictures of her means they have/are changing some of the gripes most have had. If not, oh well I'll just display her with her poncho Ezio style.

Going to leave one Boss as is in a sneaking suit, zipped up and buckled of course, and one with the OD fatigued and Davy case as seen on the bridge.

sounds awesome! im gonna display her zipped, buckled, and with her poncho holding the patriot in a kind of staring into the horizon pose. i do plan on the VM version too i just have to get building and i have other mgs memorabilia to catch up on before i do that. my completist in me wont quit, its kinda annoying if you ask me...................

I'm talking about the arnold, the released sculpt isn't nearly as flat, I don't own the new one but it does look alot better at my comic shop

Fellow Calgary collector! Yeah there aren't too many of us around here! I think even less MGS Hot Toys collectors!

Yeah I only know about 5 people around town, ever been to phoenix comics? and yeah it is fairly masculine but she a military chick, im ok with it, though ill take a more refined feminine sculpt hands down

The HT sculpt looks nothing like The Boss. Her in-game character model in MGS 3 was modeled after Charlotte Rampling, who doesn't look masculine in any way at all.

Personally, I'm skipping out on this figure. I'll hold out until a more accurate 1:6 rendition is made (by Hot Toys or someone else).

I didnt say it was accurate I just said I was ok with it because she is a military female not a runway model lol it is really inaccurate but im guessing that why its delayed

Well... The military females in MGS are hot. This figure looks like a tranny that got a botched boob surgery, from a seedy hospital in the jungles of Saigon. But yeah, hopefully, Hot Toys is delaying the figure to make improvements. I really do want to get this figure but I just need some more convincing.

you could always just get the blonde jill valentine head and swap it... I am 99.8% sure HT will re work the sculpt
