I'd be all for some comic versions of Iron Man. I grew up reading Iron Man in the 70's when artist Bob Layton did the art. Would love to have that version of the armor made.
I think you're thinking of the coloring of Whiplash's jumpsuit. Apparently that orange suit was copyrighted or something so ALL Whiplash merch had him in brown instead

I remember HT talking about Race track suit. It was around the time they announced they were going to make Iron Whiplash, they said both projects were on hold. Thats the last time they mentioned it.
