I hope HT start making more environments. Sure I can't afford them, but they're awesome to look at. Maybe finally we will get some other OT figures we're all waiting for

just like 1950 said shipping was one of the reasons they decided to go from 1/6 to 1/12. After the Batmobile issues I cannot really blame them.

Video of it from one of the shows

Thanks heaps for that, I only ever saw a shot of the unopened crate and wasn't sure if it was an urban myth...

Funny, it still looks a little on the small side.

This is one of my all time ultimate grail collectables. Can't wait to see the reveal!

Looks good so far!

Lots of unpleasantness in the thread :lol

While I think it would be awesome for some of my favorite vehicles to be released in 1/6, I think it's fair to assume anything with a measurement greater than 5 ft is unlikely. You have to consider that not only would the cost be exorbanent ($5,000 seems low) that the weight would be tremendous and it would have a pretty low fun factor.

The Falcon cockpit is a great middle ground as it allows for some variation and "play" but will still be under $1,000 and not take up an entire room.

The Landspeeder is a likely vehicle given it's size and iconic status. I'd love to have one, but don't think it'd be possible to fit in my collection w/o getting rid of a lot of other stuff to make room. Snowspeeder would also be possible because of the compact design, but as someone else said I don't think it is quite popular enough of a vehicle to get the nod.

:lol :lol Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme :lol

I'm up front with my wife on costs and was up front about my collecting from the start. When we bought our house one of my requirements was a room for my collection and when we move, one of my requirements will be a larger room for my collection :lol

It might be fun to do a diorama with this concept. A behind the scenes kind of display with a cameraman, old school bluescreen lit up and everything...

That would be cool... and I believe that image is from the Holiday Special, which is why their legs are dangling out of the bottom :lol

I think Snowspeeder would be risky because you'd really only display it with Luke in his cold weather flight suit. And it's not hugely iconic like the Batmobile, Falcon, or even the Delorean.

An articulated Wampa (the original version, with fur) would be killer. That'd work even for people who are just fans of cool monsters.

I bet we eventually get Falcon cockpit, Landspeeder, and Emperor with throne.

Yes, I really hope we get a 1/6 Wampa. I'd say the chances are slim to none, but I still hold out hope

The fanboy in me wants to get it. It's the Falcon how can I not. But my head is wondering if I will really display it and put my figures in it. I already have a display set up planned out; this just throws a kink in it. But still how awesome to recreate one of the iconic shots from the movie of Han Chewie Obi and Luke in the Falcon cockpit.

Gotta see more pics and price to decide.

I think most people are in this boat. I know myself have no place for it, which sucks. You would have to build a stand for it or a special area just dedicated for it. Since a lot of us use detolfs and the space above them to display our larger stuff... it's going to be tough. Not all of us have entire rooms that are dedicated like a museum (DAMN YOU NYC FOR YOUR LACK OF SPACE IN APARTMENTS) either way it's going to be a tough cookie to crack. Hopefully the price is so outrageous I wont consider. But if it is indeed around $500... better believe I'm going to figure out how to display this thing near my detolfs lol.

Half of what's cool about that shot is all the lights on the wall behind them, which you won't be getting. You'd also have to remove the hyperspace jump screen from the front which is a big part of why a lot of people would want to display this.

who's saying you can't display it from the front? Maybe the whole outside of the cockpit is also finished to show the nose of the falcon, as well as a "slide in" back drop piece that connects to display from the front. They would go so far out of their way to create a cockpit to only show the back of the figures heads? I'm sure there has to be a front display option with at least a cardboard backdrop to slip behind. Cardboard would be lame though. Either way it will be too awesome to pass up having the front of the cockpit mounted flush to the wall and the figures faces lit up with cockpit lights.

If they indeed pass on this opportunity to display from the front end then this will make it easier for me to pass on a higher price tag. It would be a shame really.

I like the idea of it, but I prefer to display my figures standing with accessories and stuff. I'm sure it'll make a nice display, but I'd rather have Han and Chewie in battle stances than sitting in the Falcon.

agreed. an empty falcon cockpit sitting there is still very cool to look at though! Maybe they can be standing next to it :)

Cool banner... but not seeing anything new on it. Hopefully we get at least one new 1/6 figure out of the show, if not more.

I'd guess Leia would be the most likely, but would be cool if we saw something like Tarkin or even an ESB figure.

Yeah, I'd guess this will be something that can be displayed from any angle, included from the rear if you wanted the hyperspace or other space pattern look. A cool feature space saving feature would be if it could be wall mounted.

Wall mounted would definitely be best, because then you can mount it anywhere. Next to your detolf, over your desk... over your bed LOL. Would be even cooler to cut a hole in the wall and have an acrylic back door where you can see it from the hallway and insert figures and also get divorced. I can't wait!
