If I'm gonna be spending a lot of money on this figure,I sure as hell want an accurate sculpt...and this needs to be done again.Yulli would have nailed it.

1.His jawline is too prominent.

2.His hairline is too low over his eyes,Worthington's hairline is cropped further back.

As good as Yulli is, she just as capable of failure as any scultor. Yulli cannot capture Christian Bale's portrait, she had 2 tries and missed the mark, but Kojun nailed it.

I don't understand why it is a sculptor can achieve a perfect likeness with one face and be somewhat off with others, like Yulli's got Heath Ledger down, but they can and sometimes, for whatever reason, no one can get it and all we can hope for is the best they're capable of, and as has been said with this Marcus figure, it may be the best anyone there can do, and it's certainly far superior than a lot of other "best" sculpts I've seen out there.

We have yet to see Kojun's final Bale sculpt...I asked Wookster to get onto HT for final pics since they said they were updating it 2 months ago.

I don't care, I see Bale in the original Bale sculpt, I'm not waiting for an updated one, and far more Bale likeness than Yulli, even if it's not 100%.

These are only the first pictures we've seen . We don't know when they were taken. Maybe they've already started adjusting it. Im sure we'll see new pics before augusts. Maybe at Comic Con

Not necessarily. Hot Toys doesn't always photograph updates to figures, in fact most times doesn't.

No one knew Jack Sparrow's coat would be brown until he shipped, no one knew Two Face's paint job was updated until he shipped.

The only times I've seen them post update photos are when there is a drastic change to the figure where HT feels it will help sales to push. People cried about the first TDK Batman, they made drastic mods and showed it off, HT purusued Schwarzenegger's likeness rights for Dutch instead of a semi-good portrait with overdone camo paint, so they showed that off and then did further update photos because of the legals with that.

I don't see them showing off new photos of Connor if the sculpt is updated, and I don't imagine any updates to Marcus will be shown.

Jeez, as I grew up action figures had hardly any joints, were pretty much only four-and-a-half inches tall, and as for looking 'realistic'; forget it. Heck thir legs didn't even bend. Now during the last five-ten years, we've got 1:1 scale endoskeletons, ironmen and aliens; absolutely superb 1/6 scale figures and realism that has surpassed anything that has gone before. And friggin 'eck soon we'll be complaining because a mole on his face is in the wrong place!
I think it looks absolutely superb! Very happy with the stuff HT is churning out these days. They are one talented group of people.

Pretty awesome to see that even regulair releases are getting this much accesories! At first I thought it would be a DX since this fig has 2 coats and 2 headsculpts lol.

I kinda like the look of the damaged face and the leather jacket but not sure if he can be displayed like that, I prefer to keep my figs as authentic as possible. Can't wait to see this movie!!

I am reading the official movie novel. Marcus is a bada$$, I cannot wait to pre-order this badboy.

The only downsize is buying parted pants, shirt and shoes to have both a human and cyborg fig.

Since the arm is battle damaged, can it definitely not move? In the promo pics, it looks as if it stays not bent.

The arm looks like its a endo arm connected to the torso and he's wearing a rubber sleeve. So it can probably bend.

Judging by the last 2 poses in this photo, where he is holding the shotgun, his battle damaged arm can bend

Everything is accurate to me from head to the body. People have issues with arms being skinny, their actually the right size. For the head, i see no problem considering that it's very recognizable and possible improve it more. This figure is way more worth getting that the ridiculous RE5 figures that fail at every angle.

I don't think anyone's saying the arms are skinny, but that he is, and going by the photo you posted, his upper body is a bit slimmer in width than Worthington.

Seeing that photo, not quite sure why they have the holsters high up on the thigh of his pants when the real ones look down at the knee level.

I second your agreement. The likeness isn't there at all. Its a beautiful headsculpt, incredibly realistic looking - you'd be damn happy if it came on a nude caucasian true-type - but it aint Sam Worthington.
