dude so is it a possibility that they would make a correct venom figure. it would be so cool to see a venom figure.

Anything's possible, all they've done is announce having the 3 big Marvel trilogies to make figures from, not even a hint as to what they'll start with or when we might see something.

Spiderman, X-men and Blade were introduced with their initial Marvel announcement.

I suspect the Spiderman line will consist of (red / blue & black) Spiderman and Venom. Spiderman has new movies on the horizon therefore, HT can re-use the Spiderman mold over and over again. In a similar fashion, XMO: Magneto and Wolverine 2 is scheduled which I suspect the X-men line will consist of these two again for re-use. Other figures may be made in these lines but I bet at a minimum. Blade I don't understand but eh.

I do not see them making any FF or Daredevil figures with the re-boots on the horizon. The same is true with Ghost Rider with talks of GR 2. Plus, I suspect FF would require new body molds which I doubt HT would not put the R&D dollars towards. I think Hulk is a long shot because it will require a special body which I do not see them being able to re-use. Punisher would be simple as they have everything to make the figure beyond a sculpt and skull shirt / vest but I doubt it gets made.

I agree, I think the agreement was meant more for future character development (Spiderman 4 - 6, XMO, IM 2, Captain America, Thor, Avengers) and the trilogies will be a small part.

I hope I am mistaken. My IM needs more Marvel characters to keep him company on my shelves. I cannot wait for Wolverine to hit. I am hoping for BIG things from Marvel & HT :D

On the making of feature on the Incredible Hulk blue ray, they're calling the Hulk officially at nine feet, so we would need him to be eighteen inches to be correct 1/6.

It would be absolutely awesome for a correct scale Hulk. Unfortunately, the size is a serious reason why I doubt it happens.

What i really want is Doc-Ock and New Goblin. Hot Toys would go crazy with the details on those

What would you guys think about a Spidey figure having a removable fabric mask? I always thought when i saw the Medicom figure that the plastic head threw off the whole look.

I am excited about all the Marvel possibilities but I cannot wait for this guy :google

I think this is definitive X:O Wolverine, there's really no room for BD version, and all I can think of with DX is having this costume plus his military uniform or lumberjack outfit to include bone claws and the head would have PERS.

Even if they did all that, this figure's enough for me, don't really care for PERS on Wolverine as you really need to be able to change the slope of his eyebrows and everything to make various looks effective, and I wouldn't buy another figure for bone claws, I'm bummed they're not in this set, but there's no other X:O costume I'd want a Wolverine figure in it. At this point I'm ready for an X2/X3 Wolverine.

I wasn't really into the bone claws in the movie, I think this figure looks amazing, sort of the same detail that sold Hellboy for me, really looking forward to getting it.

The BD and Dlx comment was all in fun.

I agree, this is a great Wolverine minus the accessories. I would prefer the current look along with a second "rage" sculpt instead of bare hands. IMO that would be the ultimate Wolvie. A Wolverine similar to Marcus Wright showcasing battle damage (X-Men 3) wouldn't be bad nor out of realm of possibility IMO. Either way, I wouldn't care what film version is made, Wolverine doesn't get posed with bone claws or bare hands strictly adamantium baby. I would have no use for anything else beyond the figure.

Perhaps the trilogy Wolverine will have a 'rage' sculpt or BD. Until then, I will enjoy this version.

Well not specifically commenting on what you've said, a number of people have tossed out the BD/DX notion and I really just don't see it happening with this one. I think people are starting to fear DX now, which I can't blame them somewhat, so far the first 3 DX (even though Iron Man was cancelled as a DX) have been existing figures, they've yet to just make a DX that is just a new figure to the max, they really need to show people that (unless this is how DX will always be) otherwise they'll really start to fear every buying an original version.

As for trilogy Wolverine, I say X2 or X3 because I don't like the X1 costume but the one used in 2 and 3 was nice. In fact, the only X1 figure I'd want is Toad, every other character looked better in the sequels. Storm was best in X2, as was Jean.

For some reason im not real crazy about this figure like I was before. The likeness Still seems a tad off IMO.

I do not complain about the dlx line too much.

I collect super hero movie characters and a select few others. I tend to be a completist and I generally purchase all figures in the line assuming I like the character. It happens the 2 (3) figures in the dlx line, I would have considered purchasing anyway.

If the dlx or bd figure was from the Inglorious B, POTA, Matrix, Rocky, Predators, Aliens etc. lines I do not collect, I would simply pass on the figure. No worries :naughty

X-men has a slew of female characters (Rogue, Storm, Jean and Mystic) which played major roles. I wonder how many female figures HT will produce, I guess 1 tops. I just want more information on the Marvel line stat.

I'm sure we will see Storm... not so sure about any others. (from previous films)
