I got it, I firmly believe this is the only Wolverine from Origins we will get. I have no doubt a more inclusive figure based on the X-Men trilogy will come, but I think this is it for Origins and probably the only casual Wolverine they do.

I've pre-ordered it, I wasn't sure if I should wait to see if a DX version was coming but I decided that its good enough as it is, think he looks perfect now, no need for anything extra.
I have him pre-ordered too.
I believe this will be the only casually dressed version of Wolverine. I assume the trilogy version will have him in a X-men suit. I would buy both versions so no biggie.
I do not see Wolverine having enough accessories and / or gadgets to warrant a special dlx version. Although a battle damaged version (similar to Marcus Wright) may not be out of the question.

I haven't pre ordered but I plan on getting him at some point. I have be holding off the pre ordering here recently and have had no problems getting the figures I want. On a side note, I was watching Wolverine last night and that opening montage is fantastic. And Leiv's(spelling?) performance is great as Sabertooth. The CGI really is bad but as I whole I thnink the movie was entertaining. Was it an Iron Man, no. But I think it got a bad rap. Just my opinion.
Robbie, I agree with you. I enjoyed XMO: Wolverine and I too think it received a bad rap. IMO the movie had equal amount of good qualities (Liev & Hugh) as bad (CGI, Deadpool) to make it a fair movie. To each their own tho

I honestly didn't think it was a bad movie, seeing him as Logan was fantastic, thats why I think I'm so happy with this figure, agree about the opening, it was the best/most memorable bit.
Yeah, if I buy it, I'm keeping it. The only Wolverine I might pass on is one in his X1 costume, not a big fan, but if they DX him and have the X1 and X2/3 costumes in one set, then I'll buy the X1 outfit that way, but that's it, otherwise it's 2/3 for me, much better design.

The sculpt's been finalised so I'm going to hang out and see if I can score it a little cheaper than retail. Another fail for Kojun. I suppose people will say that's unfair to say, so I take it back. Another fail for Hot Toys. I guess the Chinese for the word authentic doesn't translate properly into English. Hey Hot Toys, when ya going to put Yulli back to work?
Why am I buying it? Because, even though it doesn't look like Jackman it's still The Wolverine, and it's not likely there'll be another Logan, but I find it really hard to tell with Hot Toys. Yes it's a fine representation. Still no cigar. What's with that?

Yulli's not flawless either, her Christian Bales and Robert Downey Juniors are weaker compared to some of her hits.

It isn't a 100% likeness but I will still own it. Look at the phases Marcus Wright went thru until the final product.
I doubt Hot toys will do a resculpt though.
My mistake, it looks very Yulli so I just assumed, and I didn't know anyone but Yulli really did headsculpts once she came aboard before Kojun joined.
She still had hits and misses like anyone. No sculptor is flawless, but so far Kojun's HT portraits, at least on Connor and Wolverine, haven't been his best stuff. I think every sculptor has heads they just get and really can capture and others they do pretty good. Still, even the stuff that's not their best is better than sculpts we've gotten in the past. I think this Wolverine looks much better than the Medicom effort.
