Can see myself buying every 1:6 Wolverine going ATM!

Just picked up an old Medi "Comic" version (Yellow one). Mint in sealed box!

Lets hope his shoulders and hips haven't crumbled to dust in his box.....

I just got the comic one too, MIB and his hip was shattered, I had to play doctor and fix him.

Yeah, I'm being realistic. Pretty much every old Medi figure I own, Stormies (countless troops!!), Spiderman, Wolverine X3, Clone troopers, Punisher, Indy..... have all fallen prey to the dreaded "Medi Crumble".

If Wolvie is fine out the box, he gets posed, once, then on the shelf!

I'd said I'd NEVER buy another Medicom figure, but its my birthday Sunday so I figured, go crazy!

Doesn't explain me buying the Medicom Carnage & HT Clark Kent as well! That's just nuts!!!! ;)

Check it out if you get a chance- Hot Toys MMS 103 X-Men Origins Wolverine Review

...and here's our disclaimer again if you haven't caught our other Hot Toys reviews- Our review style is a bit different than most. Our reviews consisit of a bunch of pictures of a figure with an accompanying video of my 10-year-old son Blaze (with guest appearances by my 5-year-old Keaton) and I rambling on about that specific figure. It is fun for us because this is a hobby we share and we feel it is kinda neat to see 2 generations offering their views on a current product. It isn't for everybody though, so I won't be offended if you skip the video and just look at the pics..)

finally got him in my collection
Scored him for only $260 second hand and he's not a fake

So worth the wait for this guy

Picked one of these up for a decent price on ebay (2nd hand, natch), but still in good condition (and legit, so that's a bonus).

Question: does anyone else find the leather jacket rather severely restricts the articulation of the shoulder and elbow joints?

I have heard so much about fakes of this figure. I want one but I'm afraid of being taken. Do you know if it is easy to spot a fake? Keeping my fingers crossed that I will get one.

Search this thread for "emo" and "mascara". :D

just so you know, the leather jacket will stain the body if the red shirt is not covering his arms

Yeah, I know. There's already some staining on the back of the hands where the jacket rides down over the shirt onto the hands.

I can live with it. :)

The fakes are good but not if you know what to look for. The key is getting a photograph of the actual item and not your everyday google picture.

If you find one you want put a pic up here and you'll get a response. I don't actually have him but I do know the differences between the fake and the original. The skin tone, belt buckle, stand, box, eye's, all have differences.

Again your best bet is to buy from someone who collects so either here or if it's ebay read the description - If it says something like "Kept in a dust free environment, well looked after" etc etc , you can be confident the guy collects himself.

Great advice. Thank you. :) If I find one, I'll make sure to check here.
