New X-Men was based off the first film. In fact the reason Marvel hired Morrison because the books' circulation didn't go up even though the film was a hit.

Was never really a fan of the New X-Men costumes, although I did kinda like Wolverine's look. The groups Astonishing duds were awesome though.

Haven't seen Origins yet. Still think it's pretty funny that 3 was so bad that they had to go back around to the beginning for a fourth movie.

Overall films, X2 is still my favorite, the music, the story, but for performances, Jackman's Wolverine in Origins was the best, it was like all the stuff he developed in the first 3 meshed together, it was great, and Schreiber's Sabertooth was great.
