Mine was released from customs on the 14th. I still haven't received it. A week to move between coasts is getting ridiculous. Freakin holiday mail..

Eh, not bad for a first try.

But I think the HT Wolverine head hair is to wide to have him wear a hat and look good.

As I stated this myself earlier. But what I would be going for is this.

Wolvie-hat.jpg

The hat tilted drasticly forward. Measurements would have helped planning this though...

The plan is to pose him like he was napping on a motorcycle. I did a drawing of this way back, I was trying to sent off some of my designs for Marvel as an open submission.
That didn't go as planned because Marvel ceased to accept any around that time. But anyways I'd like to pose him like that drawing...

I'll show some photos if this ever gets done.
Just got a word from my seller that there is some sort of problem with the PayPal payment :(

Elaman, I'm not sure if this hat might fit?

I have the Sydney Savage figure but sadly she's in a box somewhere so I can't check, but for 25 cents it's worth a try-

Yep, I found that one myself. But to me it seems to be a little too cartoonish.
I'm going for something more realistic. I wondered if the 'cowboy James Dean' hat might work, but I dont have that figure and seems like that hat is not finding it's way to me. And it's not for lack of trying...

Been a fan of the character since I was three and still remember playing with the so-so Secret Wars figure with the snap-on claws, and have had most of the (good) Wolverine figures since then. The 90s was a particularly good time to into Marvel and action figures.
While I'm admittedly not a big fan of the X-movies I find Jackman's Wolverine is definitely one of the few amazing aspects of the franchise. Needless to say this figure was a no brainer for me. And I really can't believe he's here.

pffff im still waiting im ordered via ems 4 days ago still waiting......

Claws are definitely metal nice and sturdy too! :rock

A couple more notes:

-Two sets of pegs but these are larger than regular TT pegs.
-All six hands have the hair sculpted on them instead of just painting them to look that way.
-Rubber feels different than Rambo etc. Can't really describe it other than that. It's similar to the soft plastic/rubber used on McFarlane figures back in the day and he even has that McFarlane "smell" when you first open it.
-Elbow joints are particularly stiff and I'd recommend holding the bicep to move the forearm.
-Jacket is a little limiting similar to John Connor's. Fully lined and the zippers work, just as you'd expect.
-Lastly, and unbelievably cool, the dogtags say Wolverine and Logan on them VERY tiny print but it's there along with the numbers.

Sounds great. Officially pre-ordered.

Although I don't get why HT gives us six hands and four pegs. How much would two more pegs screw them?

I love this shot! Congrats!

Missed your post. Thanks, man! :duff

Couldn't really figure that out myself to be honest. I almost think the second pair is present incase you break one, but if each hand had it's own peg that would be a non-issue.

Anyone knows if Toys2 has these in stock for shipping right now?

Preorders are shipping not sure if they are in-stock per se.

Their brains are half in the right place. Most of the time, HT hands come off the pegs easier than pegs out of the forearms. The reason they throw extra pegs in now is because wrist pegs are often something to break on people and rather than ship new ones and be bombarded with emails from people looking for new ones, they just pack in spares with the figure.

True a lot of broken wrist pegs with the Dutch figure probably got them on this track.

Even before that, one of the biggest messes with wrist pegs was the first TDK Batman, the hands hold onto those pegs so snug, many people broke those off. It's always been an issue though, I broke one of Rocky's, the first Rocky they did, a Rambo, my TDK Batman. As much as their wrists look nice, they're fragile.
