Hulk would be awesome. HT has made great progress on their bodies it may not be outta the realm of possibility. A re-vamped Wolverine body to the scale of the Hulk would look great IMO.

I dunno he would definitely have to be massive it if were made from the latest HULK movie...

Marvel Legend Icons makes a 12 in Hulk from plastic. Wolverine is plastic minus the torso. IMO it could be done. The question may be how accurate to scale would they make the figure. I doubt HT would make a 18 - 22 inch figure (whatever is true scale) but I could see a 14 in version. All speculation of course...

I'm sure HT could do it, and I'm not ???? about it being 1/6 like some people, especially if it were lone figure, if all we get is Hulk himself, then he can be 12" tall and be fine enough for me, some people have no interest if it's not 1/6 scale. If they do Banner too, then I'd want them in scale to each other.

Ideally, I'd like this in figures, the exact looks and everything, though the scale is greatly exaggerated.

I love how at one point, Norton's costume and gear really mirrored the old Bixby days.

The Sideshow PF is around the 18-22 inches and that's a 1:4th scale so I could see it being around 14 inches, although that is what my Predators are at and I'm not sure that would look right either :banghead

I agree with Maulfan. A stand alone Hulk around 14 inches (bigger than other Marvel characters) is fine IMO. I don't need a true scale figure (wouldn't fit in Deltof). But I wouldn't reject a true scale figure either.

Agreed I would really like it to be only slightly bigger than the rest of the Marvel line. Making it true to the scale is almost too much and it wouldn't look right with everything else displayed on the shelf.

It's not the height that's an issue, it's the sheer mass (every other dimension). A true-to-scale (or close to) Hulk figure would need to appear as physically imposing as possible, and that would require bulk. That's the toughest hurdle I think it translating the Hulk to an action figure.

HT has already done an 18" figure, and (hopefully) they intend to make even taller figures when their Avatar line is unveiled.

HT's tallest figure (I think): The Predalien

GOD I need to get me Alien HT figs, as soon as I complete my Preds I will be on the move towards that direction. Love the Alien Predator :rock

The alien height is quite drastic in the pic. A Hulk that tall with mass would be awesome. Assuming HT made a plastic Hulk using a similar body to Wolverine's only "thicker" giving the appearance of mass / bulk it could be done and still look nice (high end).

I think Hulk's doable if made like Wolverine. Use a rubber sheath over a hard plastic base torso with mildly jointed arms and use a similar method for legs as the Wolverine arms. The only downside is, basically it'd be a one use body, not sure they'd put all that work in for one figure.

I think the biggest obstacle stopping HT from giving us The Hulk is in that statement. They can produce different body molds Endo, Ironman, Wolverine etc. but they re-use the mold and milk it to recoup cost. I cannot think of another figure to re-use The Hulk body except The Hulk. Either sell it at a ludicrous price or milk it like the endo's and IM. I suppose it is possible to produce six Hulks (three from each movie) to recoup cost. :lol

Trouble is, you can't really use the body for 2008 Hulk for 2003 Hulk, very different body shapes. 2003 was a bulky, massive look, 2008 was fairly normal in proporions, just really scaled up.

Ah.....HT will need to pick a year 03 or 08. Then they make a regular (no expression) and deluxe version (rage expression) PERS and whatnot and sell both at higher than average cost with low run numbers. Get public what they want while making money in return.

I wouldn't object to 2003, but most fans of Hulk seemed to hate the 2003 design, some weren't even hot on the 2008 but it was more well received.

And since I came accross it, here's a height reference on 2008.

Yeah I would rather prefer the 2008 version and this pic is just sick.... I remember watching that scale in the movie for the first time :lol

The main thing I didn't like in 2003 was how big they made him, he was like 15-20 feet tall by his final growth, it was just rediculous, I think 9 feet is good, big enough he is a Hulk, but small enough it's not rediculous either.

Man, it'd be cool to have an HT Hulk to square off against this Wolverine figure.

They have done one shots before. Hellboy was the only use of the body. Unless they are fully clothed most figures are basically one shots now.
