I'm not sure we'll see either Sabertooth. If HT goes far enough with the trilogy, my guess is we see Magneto, Mystique, and possibly Pyro for baddies. Sabertooth, Toad :monkey2 and others probably stand no chance.

With heroes, Wolverine's a guarantee, then probably Storm, Cyclops and Jean, doubt we see Prof. X, Rogue, Iceman, Collossus or Beast.

Physically Mane had the brute that Sabertooth ought to have but he was little more than a background character. Shriber definitely had the attitude.

He had too much makeup too, Mane that is, most of Schreiber's performance came from his facial expressions, he's very good at performint that way, that's one of the reasons I liked him better as Sabertooth.

"Why?"

"Why? You don't call, you don't right, how else am I supposed to get your attention."

I've got high hopes for their Spiderman franchise license ................. whenever that happens. Other than T2 nothing excites me more right now.

My prediction for that license is Red/Blue Spidey, Black Spidey, Green Goblin and Doc Oc, don't expect Venom, Sandman or Goblin Jr. I just want the Red/Blue Spidey suit from the films finally represented properly in figure form. I've got a nice statue from Sideshow but I'd like a figure, I love the suit, but both Medicom figures didn't capture it.

I am curious about the entire Marvel line (Blade, Spiderman, X-Men, Ironman 2 etc.) and T2. Clash, Avatar and Prince PoP didn't appeal to me which is a good thing :D

I could see them making Sandman simply because it'd be easy for them to do baring a few "sandy" accessories. But I think red/blue and symbiote Spidermans are all I would get. Hate SM3 but love the black costume for some reason. Likely because the teaser poster was so powerful.

Those newer licesnses don't do much for me either. The films all look great but I don't see the need to purchase anything from them. :dunno

You don't see Venom in their sights? The pieces are there to make Venon minus the sculpt. I agree about both Spidey's and Goblin (glorified Batman suit with new sculpt). Doc Ock may be a stretch IMO.

X-Men will definitely bring (at least one) Wolverine, I agree with Storm (new female body), Magneto and Mystic. I am not certain anyone else would make the list.

I cannot wait to find out.

what I would like to see is a HT Schreiber sabertooth. BUT I would only buy it if it came with a X-men 1 leateher uniform for wolverine and a new head sculpt also for wolverine ( kind of like police joker). maybe even a hand with the just middle claw out, or just the out side ones. one can dream

Nope, the general vibe I've gotten from people is that the SM3 Venom final render wasn't very well received, between that and Medicom doing one, I don't see them gambline on it. I'd even say no black Spidey except depending on how they do red and blue, could recycle molds.

I like the original concept for Venom, I'd get a figure based on that design but doubt they could with licensing approvals.

I like the purplish tint to him.

I often wondered if our expectations are to high with the Marvel line. Consider the possibilities for each trilogy line which doesn't include any new films (IM 2 etc.).
Spiderman: (Red / Blue, Black, Goblin, Goblin II, Doc Ock, Venom)
X-men: (Wolverine, Magneto, Mystic, Scott, Storm, Jean etc.)
Blade: (Blade, Whistler, Frost etc.)
It is a large undertaking with the other franchises being announced. I imagine each line will consist of the bare number of character possible not the big list we all hope to see. The Marvel line may be similar to XMO:Wolverine and slim pickings.

I'm expecting the older Marvel lines to be thinner because their age and some of the characters in general just hurts selling power. Other than Wolverine, I do wonder who else from the X-Men film world would go far for sales, Spiderman, I think Red and Blue Spidey and Goblin would do well, after that, at HT prices and with everything else coming out, I'm not sure what else could do very well. Fortunately for me, and I'm sure others. the ones that matter most are the ones with the best shot of being made

I agree.

I am looking forward to whichever characters are made simply because I enjoy the films. A good Blade, Spidey and Wolverine will be fine. Anyone else is icing on the cake. I am hopeful with "apparent" Ghost Rider on the horizon other obscure characters (Hulk, Punisher, Daredevil) may have a slight chance to join Blade, Spidey and Wolverine on my shelves. It doesn't appear HT is going to make any further announcements regarding the line up beyond the poll and sign at Comic Con so we wait and see.

I would be ecstatic if HT did a movie Hulk, I wish I could have a move Hulk or a Lou Ferrigno Hulk in figure form, properly representing the source, move Hulk gets no attention except a few crappy Koto pieces. I like some of the older comic styles to him but a lot of the modern ones are bleh to me and all you ever see is comic stuff.
