Just received Wolverine from Sideshow on Friday. Of the four Hot Toys figures I own, this is one of my favorites. I consider it a tie between this and Begins Batman. Even as impressive as DX Joker is, Wolverine is just a lot more fun and extremely impressive in his own right.

Everyone in this thread has mentioned the phenomenal paint apps and all I can do is echo the sentiment. Amazing coloration and details. An awesome representation of Wolverine and an outfit I personally prefer to the X costume - couldn't have asked for anything better.

Now, I know someone mentioned it earlier in the thread already, but where is a good spot to dig up a 1:6 motorcycle? This figure deserves it.

These pics just cost me 150$

The only problem I found with my figure was that the buttons are glued on and one is almost completely loose and I haven't even taken it out of the box yet. Wish they had sewn them on.

Decided to go ahead again and pick this one up yesterday. Decided to change his outfit........

Yup I just thought of that watching the movie last night, there's gonna be some many version of Origins Wolverine, which is awesome :rock

I'm pondering buying an extra head and claw hands to custom bash him in the X-suit, I really wish HT would unveil an trilogy figure, even if not Wolverine himself, just to give some sign, I'd hate to invest in a custom if an official one is around the corner, especially where his hair will be properly sculpted like the trilogy. I am considering getting another pair of the bare fists and making bone claw hands.

I would be surprised, if anything more comes out of Origins, I'd expect Sabertooth, and I don't even think he'll be likely. I think at this point, they'll make a Trilogy Wolverine or two and some other trilogy characters and then move into comics for X-men stuff.

After watching the film again for the first time since it was in theaters I would really like for them to go back and do Creed and Gambit. But I doubt that's likely at this point.

Sadly, yup, you can just get a sense when HT isn't putting much into a film. Watchmen line'll be lucky to see Roshach and that'll probably be the last there, I'd be surprised if basterds goes beyond Brad Pitt.

As far as X-Men films go, it seems like Wolverine is viewed as a strong seller, Medicom made him, Hot Toys has already made one, but it seems like any character beyond him in any X film is a lucky break for collectors if it's made.

Fingers and toes crossed for Liev however, I tend to agree with you MF. Wolverine will be it from Origins :(

HT does single characters such as: Godfather, Wolverine, Edward Scissorhands and Batman Begins. I believe the trend may expand with all the new licenses IB, 300, Blade II, Matrix and perhaps others.

Yeah, I don't see them making anymore from this film. Which outside of Wolverine I'm not sure I'd get anyways. If this line is indeed a one off then they did a freaking amazing job with it.

I don't think I'd buy any more figures from the XO:W line.

I'm okay with waiting for the (in my opinion) inevitable X-Men trilogy Wolverine and assorted team members.

If not, there's always the Wolverine sequel!

Hopefully a trilogy Wolverine might debut in another month or so, I think the last of the Origins figures are going out now so it'll have been out and in hands enough to not be affected by the release of another Wolverine.
