More pics tomorrow, but I had to take a few because I was happy to find that not only does it easily assume this pose but it's also pretty stable in this pose since the tail acts kinda like a third leg.

All taken in super low light lit with a bunch of led keychain lights.

Oh, man, Joseph, they are Gorgeous Shots. Truly magnificent. I do think these shots alone will prolly sell a whole batch.

I guess I'm still bothered mostly by the dome forehead and the much needed overlap of the lip. If someone could Mod that, or come up with a dome alternative where it could be replaced, that would sell me. I could always work with the mouth and repaint the teeth...

But... something is just holding me back. What I do find inspring is that YOU "In Hand" Guys truly love this piece. I hope you feel the same after a week or so.

Funny thing is, and it's kind of ironic considering all the flaws, I actually dig my Warrior. Go figure.

I think it's because it is menacing looking, you know. It's beastly and I wouldn't F with it if I ran into it in my little corridor.

Yeah, if the Aliens Warrior had been w/o QC issues he'd have been my favorite. He's probably worse off in terms of accuracy, but looks very menacing.

To me that's what saved the Aliens warrior for all it's inaccurracies, that it was the most vicious and evil of all the Alien figures. I'd still love if they took this new Big Chap mold and gave it the few adjustments needed to be and Aliens figure, but doubt that'll happen.

Well, I think we can safely assume the HT Aliens line is over, but -- and this thought just occured to me -- knowing Howard as I do.. er.. hmm.. meaning knowing sort of how he thinks, I bet he's still kicking himself that HT couldn't come up with a viable Queen after so many tries... but they may still lick it because they are now working with PVC a lot more and maybe using PVC legs or some sort of material mix they still may still figure it out. Hoping anyway.

Oddly, I'd actually kinda prefer the head they originally had that was the same from the Alien bust. I know it's way inaccurate but I like it for the same reason people have stated they like the Aliens Warrior. It just looked meaner.

Most of the time I actually prefer exaggeration and stylization over accuracy (when done well anyway) but in the case of the alien I'm torn as it's such a great design to begin with (although I LOVE Ht's vinyl version)

I'm still hoping they do an ALIEN: RESURRECTION Alien.

"Chicken leg" Alien would be a cool addition to the HT collection.

It's just a shame that with the Moebius suits already developed that they didn't at least give us a Lucky Star Ripley. Would have made a great companion piece to Big Crap... er... Chap and helped with sales.

For all the heat the figure has been taking, they really see to have nailed the translucent quality of the dome. It's milky, eerie and very very cool looking.

One of the hardest things to get right... haven't seen many pieces that nail it and HT really seems to have made it work. Cannot wait to get mine.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed that no Ripley came with this one. I would have even got a suitted Lambert just to have the full set of three space suits.

Even a "generic" Rip Character Sculpt like they did with Aliens Rip would work though, as she would be helmeted anyway.

Let's not forget the new Alien film, surely a figure will come from that, I just hope the creature design is nice.

With no Stan or Giger to work on it, it could be a crapshoot, but with Ridley's imput, I'm sure we'll see something pretty decent.

That's what I'm hoping, that Ridley will have an opinion on it and gear it more towards the early designs. ADI's been doing them since Alien 3 and it's just been a further and further stray from the Giger design but Ridley might snap them back, all the directors with ADI I think have given them too much freedom and entrusted them with it, but I think Ridley might be more particular, I hope.
