It's weird that I totally adore the Alien 3 design but loath everything that ADI has done to Alien since. That could possibly be due to ADI basically using 90% of Giger's design for Alien3.

I agree somewhat.

I couldn't stand ADI's designs for A:R or AvP but I really like their design for AvP:R Aliens for some reason.

It might be due to the return to the domeless design.

Some of these are a bit odd, I was doing the shining the lights into the lens thing and they're all lit with LEDs. About six of them or seven if I'm shining one into the lens.

The head and neck area on the AvP:R Aliens is a totally new sculpt. And that's what I liked about them.

Those smokey shots are outstanding. I've had my alien for over a week now and other then 2 shelf dives in my case, I still think he looks great. He isn't a perfect model of the giger design but he still ranks up there in the top 3 of my collection.

Those are some ace photos, dedguy. Your entire lighting set-up for these shots are LEDs? Nice. Did you use a variety of different colors?a regular led (like, on a keychain light) emits blue light.

I gotta say, I haven't seen any better photos than yours so far that makes the chap look nearly as good.

I hate all the Avp and Alien resurrection designs. I hope Ridley take back Giger for the new movie.

"Chicken leg" Alien would be a cool addition to the HT collection.

Have to agree... while I'm not a fan of that movie, I'd love to have a chicken-leg to finish out the set.

My Fave Pic so far... just hauntingly beautiful.

Might have actually looked like a real still from the film if the mouth wasn't all jacked up.

Could we please stop harping on the mouth?

I am debating re-doing all the teeth out of polystyrene on mine though. Not because the mouth or teeth bug me at all personally but just because I enjoy doing mods. All the mods I did to my Pred I did to make it more accurate, not because I needed it to be but because it was fun. So no more "haha you said it's great but it needs modification". No I didn't, I've said it's great and I'm going to modify mine because I enjoy that aspect of the hobby a whole lot.

May also add the tube around the dome if I can find something suitable. The one on the Medicom is way too big imo. I need to find something very thin and flexible and preferably already corrugated.
