I ordered a few HTs through the current Go Hastings sale. They are trickling in. Just got the Trutype body I ordered. It came well packed and perfect. My Aldo Raine and Falconer are on the way...no notice about the Big Chap yet...but I'm sure it will come soon.

This might be a stupid question, but which changes have been made to the Alien?
Im pretty sure the dome is a different colour and more glossy, but what has been done exactly?

as for your question, Terminator_Fan_Game, i never had the original HT figure, so i can only base on photos i've seen.
and what i see is:
- the dome's forehead is fully reshaped. that's the greatest part, because it's biggest.
- cheeks now have extra pieces of plastic (where tubes go from), you can notice that if you compare it to HT cheeks.
- some small, but very important job was applied to the mouth zone: inner jaw is taken away, mouth hole became more narrow, less godzilla looking.

that's what the author did.

- then i tore the skin from jaws and reglued to make the mouth even more narrow and smiling.
- and finally i replaced those tubes going from cheeks. they were attached to the head, i turned them upside down and re-routed to go into neck. i would be happy to put them into the body as it would be fully screen accurate, but they don't bend, so i placed them almost where they should be and still can move the figure's head.

I would say "Yes.", But I only have this one and the "ALIENS" Alien Warrior, and out of the two, this one is by far superior.

Besides, this is the original. Cant go wrong with that.
