Glad you're enjoying him JB, as a Terminator fan, I'm really pleased with the end results on the Terminator Salvation line and the T2 line is looking like it'll probably carry on with that.

Yeah, I'm sure Hot Toys has some good stuff on the way for T2...

I' still wish that the TS line wasn't over though...but what a line!

Yeah, another Hot Toys line that I feel came 1 figure shy of feeling complete. They could do Blair and people like that too, but I feel like not having Reese at all and 2 Connors doesn't quite add up. As far as screen time, I think Reese had as much or maybe even more presence than Connor.

Would someone mind giving some pointers on how to get the backpack on? I got mine today and I'm afraid to turn the arms all the way backwards- feels like I might break it. I'm also afraid to pull the slack in the backpack loops...

The arms can turn backwards just fine, if you're really worried about breaking them, just move them from the front backwards at his sides instead of trying to rotate them backwards swinging them up and over his head.

It just takes time and patience, especially with figures like Connor that feature so many details like small straps, buckles and the like...

Not a bad idea to have a set of tweezers around when dealing them either...

Yup, most HT figures in some way or another take a bit of effort to get just right, but they look great once you do. I strategically plan my photos around throwing the gear on and things like that so I can do the challenging tweaks as little as possible.

That is very valuable. I've been posing HT figures for years, but when it came to Connor, I used a spare TT I had to test out gun holding poses to see what was possible for the body so I could know what was a limit of his costume or what was a limit of the body. I found that most of my issues with the first Connor were the way his costume would restrtict the elbow articulation.

I find this figure tough to pose. It has 2 black marks against it as far as I'm concerned:

1) it has to be an action pose because, whatever way the boots are sculpted and/or attached to the leg, a normal straight-legged standing pose isn't possible and

2) that overlong forearm issue bothers me on this figure in particular, I find it really noticeable. Other than keeping his arms straight there seems to be no way to disguise the flaw and yet because of blackmark 1 a straight-arm pose is not really an option.

I agree with the boots, I'm not sure what about them is the cause, but they do sort of rest irregularly against surfaces, even on the T-600 base, when I pose my v1 Connor on it, I found it tricky getting the feet on it in such a way I felt it looked realistic.

The forearm thing, i dont' find as much a visual issue as a posing one, I try to match his gun holding style from the movie and his hands end up in odd places because of the extra forearm length.

Not even necessarily angry, just stern like Marcus Wright would have been better. Marcus' expression is pretty intense I think, looks good with gun poses and such, but John is a bit lifeless.

yeah some emotion.. any emotions..... bloody hybrid has more emotion on his face than the angry Bale

Yea I want an angry or at the lest a painful expression bale head for Connor. You would think with a big bloody cut on his face like that, he's flinch at least a little bit. LoL
