well I just got the fb jacket and v1 gun and fb head from another member.... so I will have to put together a bash and slowly buy stuff for it.. I already had the fb base..

Got JCFB from Sideshow last week, and finally had a chance to open him up this weekend. I prefer him to the original version, regardless of the extra stuff he came with. I initially thought the regular JC's uniform was better than FB version, but having him in hand, I think I prefer JCFB's costuming.

Small problem, my JCFB did not come with his arm attachment, the one on his right arm that holds the third rifle clip. Was it supposed to come attached to the figure already, or was it loose in the packaging and needed to be attached a la the radio pouch?

Anyways, the point is my figure did not have it. Should I contact Sideshow about this, or should I go directly to Hot Toys?

Final question: the backpack comes with loose straps; are these meant to be clipped together along JC's lower torso? While one can figure out where pieces are supposed to go from the pictures, it'd still be nice if HT included some detailed instructions.

My arm attachment was attached to the figure, so you may need to handle the situation with sideshow or HT(whichever you prefer). Sideshows customer service is pretty good, so id start with them first. And for the backpack, I buckled the straps across his torso like you mentioned because im pretty sure thats what he does in the movie.

I learned from the masters here not to rely on any second hand references even if it is HT instructions or product shots but go straight to the source.. the movie..
I have not touched or looked at any of my TS stuff lately as I ran out of cases until I restructure my living room :p so I can't comment on possible lack of parts but from what I recalled everything is pretty movie accurate and here are my pics again

Contacted Sideshow about the missing arm attachment on Monday, and they responded yesterday. They just confirmed today that the missing part will be shipping out to me in a couple of days.

I'm glad I ordered through Sideshow. I wanted the exclusive PDA anyway, but the fact that their cusomer service is superb is worth the few dollars in savings you might get from ordering elsewhere, IMO.

Cool shot, Geil!

And yes, DinoDB1975...Sideshow is tops when it comes to customer service! Hope your part shows up soon!

Great pic Geil. As for which one I prefer(earlier post) now that I have both, too tough to call. gotta have both, or if you must, loose parts from both to bash. (ala Mesa)

Wrong thread, but I'm here anyway, so these are pics of Original JC with a couple of accessories. I couldnt' get the backpack to fit and still look okay (i.e. too crowded).

I just got a real deal. A new JC FB figure for $147 :chew. The figure is new, just the outer box is opened. Man this figure is awesome. The base is very cool. Hydro bot is very well done, don't know what I can use it for though.
