I just got mine via EMS from HK today. The work on the outfit outstanding. The level of detail is amazing between the rubber costume, the harness, the ammo belts and the two rifles, especially the tear gas rifle. The face paint is very subtle and the toothy grin in the sculpt does not look as jarring as it did in some of the preview pics. Too bad there is no scar on the face. I thought the missing yellow smiley faces would annoy me, but they haven't yet. A word of caution though-some of the parts are delicate. I had some problems getting the holes and pins on the straps for the pistol holsters and the leg knife holder to stay shut, just be patient in trying to get them to connect . Now that I got them in place I don't think I will take the pistols and knife out of their holsters. Also the two pieces of armor on his shoudlers hang a little low compared to the movie stills, but I think this is due to give you the full rotation on the shoulder joints. You can position the shoulder armor higher up on his shoulders so its closer to the top of his arms. I will try and get some pics up tomorrow night of him with Silk Spectre.

I am big fan of the Watchmen movie and book- I can only hope HT would actually finish the line with all six major characters.

The HT Comedian is in my top 5 in the Movie Masterpiece line, along with Hell Boy, Abe S, Wolverine and the MK1 Iron Man.

Thanks for the pics. The paint app looks kinda weak. Is it rue or just the lighting?

Could be the lighting- the figure is on a shelf where my home theater is and it tends to be on the dark side. Most of the light in the pics is from the flash on the camera which could distort things. I personally like the paint on the face- to my untrained eye it is similar to the paint app on the XMO-Wolverine figure. I don't have the expertise of most of the people on the board in discerning very subtle differneces in paint appllication.

He has a scar. Its just not as visable as the comic's. But it is there.

Thanks for pointing that out about the scar- after taking a closer look under a bright light I did see it. It's very subtle in the sculpt around the lines on the face. It's also hard to see in most normal light since there isn't any contrasting paint app on the scar to make it stand out against the rest of the face.

So I really really hope that rorschach is made, but.. I think Im gonna get comedian and hold off on Silk until when or if ror is announced. if not, I think Comedian would work well as a stand alone piece, much more than silk spectre anyway..

The rubber armor is very good- it is skin tight on the figure. It fits like a scuba wet suit- no gap between the suit and body. As for flexibility of the figure- put a wet suit on the XMO Wolveine body (which is the body for this figure) and there you have it.

I will do more pics for everyone when I get home from work tonight- after 9pm eastern time.

Looks great. I dont see a weak paint in those pics. Looks good to me. Cant wait for your pics man!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not getting Silk until we get at least Rorschach. Comedian's already on order from SS.

He's on exactly the same body as Wolverine, so it's plastic like Wolverine
