Interesting...
Here's a couple real quick pics. I will try and do some more tomorrow night- I have get stuff ready for work tomorrow morning. Second pic shows how low shoulder armor hangs before I repositioned it higher up on the arrm.
Could be the lighting- the figure is on a shelf where my home theater is and it tends to be on the dark side. Most of the light in the pics is from the flash on the camera which could distort things. I personally like the paint on the face- to my untrained eye it is similar to the paint app on the XMO-Wolverine figure. I don't have the expertise of most of the people on the board in discerning very subtle differneces in paint appllication.
I just got mine via EMS from HK today. The work on the outfit outstanding. The level of detail is amazing between the rubber costume, the harness, the ammo belts and the two rifles, especially the tear gas rifle. The face paint is very subtle and the toothy grin in the sculpt does not look as jarring as it did in some of the preview pics. Too bad there is no scar on the face. I thought the missing yellow smiley faces would annoy me, but they haven't yet. A word of caution though-some of the parts are delicate. I had some problems getting the holes and pins on the straps for the pistol holsters and the leg knife holder to stay shut, just be patient in trying to get them to connect . Now that I got them in place I don't think I will take the pistols and knife out of their holsters. Also the two pieces of armor on his shoudlers hang a little low compared to the movie stills, but I think this is due to give you the full rotation on the shoulder joints. You can position the shoulder armor higher up on his shoulders so its closer to the top of his arms. I will try and get some pics up tomorrow night of him with Silk Spectre.
I am big fan of the Watchmen movie and book- I can only hope HT would actually finish the line with all six major characters.
The HT Comedian is in my top 5 in the Movie Masterpiece line, along with Hell Boy, Abe S, Wolverine and the MK1 Iron Man.

great pics. just a few questions... how's the rubber armor? is it like batman's or ex machina's? is it restrictive? is it 2 or 1 piece? thanks.
The rubber armor is very good- it is skin tight on the figure. It fits like a scuba wet suit- no gap between the suit and body. As for flexibility of the figure- put a wet suit on the XMO Wolveine body (which is the body for this figure) and there you have it.
I will do more pics for everyone when I get home from work tonight- after 9pm eastern time.
So I really really hope that rorschach is made, but.. I think Im gonna get comedian and hold off on Silk until when or if ror is announced. if not, I think Comedian would work well as a stand alone piece, much more than silk spectre anyway..
I was thinking the same thing. I'm not getting Silk until we get at least Rorschach. Comedian's already on order from SS.
In my display, I have figures in groups of three. If I had to pick three Watchmen characters, they would be Ror, Night Owl, and Comedian. Silk Spectre is only a buy for me *IF*
HT releases all 6 (so two groups of three, which is DOUBTFUL)
OR
HT releases only one more Watchmen fig (so she would add to the three)
I don't think I've seen this answered, but is he an all rubber muscle body or is me mostly plastic like Wolverine?
