I have a feeling he'll be one of the last figures from the T2 line. Well probably see the T-1000 next, and(hopefully) a T-800 endo before we see BD arnie.

I'm sure, and I kind of feel all but certain it'll happen, it's "easy money" but it's so important to me, until there's a photo, even a vague teaser from HT or Tommy Richardson, I'm still weary of whether we'll get it or not, I just want that little bit to know it's coming, it can take months after that to actually show up, I just want certainty it's being made.

are you still getting the RAMBO PF?

I fully expect atleast 2 more Arnold T-800 figures before this line ends. Final Battle/Battle Damaged definitely, Cyberdyne/Other variations probably.

Does anyone think HT will scale down the endoskeleton...if they are including one in the line and if they're starting from scratch. Because the endoskull would certainly need to be smaller than the existing one if its to realistically compare alongside the Arnie headsculpt.

I don't care about the Endo's proportions to the Arnie figures, if they retool it, I care most that by itself, it look in proper shape and proportion. There are things like the head shape and the thin looking upper body that I'd like to see improved on. I don't care if it looks like the Arnie figures could be flesh over the Endo figure, I just want the Endo figure to look closer to Winston's prop.

This is precisely how I feel too.

If they do Cyberdyne they'll have to change the head in some way to differentiate it from MMS117. Perhaps give it longer hair and change the facial expression. But even that might not be enough to not pi$$ off the people who bought MMS117 in the expectation that it was their only chance to get a clean headsculpt.

Perhaps we should put that to people here: Would you be annoyed if HT made another T-800 figure with the cyberdyne accessories and another (possibly slightly different) clean headsculpt?

Well, that's the reason I decided to pass on MMS 117. I really don't see Hot Toys passing up the chance to milk the T-800. There's no doubt in my mind that we'll see another "clean" T-800. If it happens people will get pissed but I guarantee they buy it anyway.

If they do 2 more T-800 Arnie figures, I'd say Cyberdyne and BD will be what they go with, but, I still see them setting it up such that somehow people will feel a need to have a spare MMS117 for making a proper look, and maybe of the other figures, like having the Cyberdyne figure come with the semi-BD head so you still need MMS117 for a clean head to have the mini-gun setup.

Being fairly obsessive about T2 (despite actually preferring T1 as a film) I wouldn't mind if HT made another figure with a clean portrait. But it'd be nice if they'd change it a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing a smiling sculpt. No not the horse smile from the special edition scene - this one

No. I was thinking about how HT should/would/could go about giving us both the cyberdine and damaged looks. My 1st thought was a dx figure with everything you need but once you start listing that stuff it's gets to be too much.

So therefore I came to a conclusion :lecture

2 new seperate figures, a cyberdine and a battle damaged.

Though it would be cool if they released the cyberdine accessories as a kind of accessory set. Something like the Tony Stark suit. The difference between the cyberdine and regular version is just a few weapons. Therefore does it really warrant a new figure? I bet people would prefer to look to ebay for the loose weapons anyway rather than paying for a full figure.

There's obviously the partially damaged look he has between cyberdine and the steel mill but you can't argue with only the 3 main looks being released!

Really, because I'm thinking the opposite. I don't think it would be impossible for Hot Toys to improve the MMS 117 head. They've done that in the past with tons of figures. We also have to take into account the possibility of including multiple heads. I wouldn't put it past Hot Toys producing either two more MMS figures or one MMS DX figure to finish off all the different looks of this T-800, a brand new clean head, a semi battle damaged portrait and the final stage head with the fully exposed endo included. Three more heads, three variations of clothing.

I'm prepared either way. Most of the parts for the MMS 117 are cheap. I plan on buying the sunglasses, rose box, black shirt, model 1887 Shotgun, pistol and hands very soon. That way if they do indeed make another "clean" version except a Cyberdyne variation I'll have all the parts to make the definitive Uncle Bob from the events prior to the second act.

If Hot Toys doesn't (which again, I doubt) I'll take the loss and buy the MMS 117 on ebay.

With this T2 line, I see them planning figures to necessitate purchase of one another. Like the new Sarah, people wanting that head for T-1000 are forced to buy her or pay crazy eBay prices. T-800, he's got 3-4 significant looks you could make with figures, even more depending on how subtle you want to vary your figures, so, over the T-800s you release, you pack the goods with them to make it a necessity for anyone wanting to make those looks to have to buy all of them.

I don't see them putting out T2 figures that obsolete previous releases, I really think if anything, they'll make other releases feel necessary and unpassable.
