That arm connector/socket is a horrible design.

Isn't this now the second person to report the exact same arm break?.Thing i don't get about the rubber upper torso, is that they painted it but, left the nipples unpainted yet, Wolverine has them done and Leonidas.

One arrived broken and the other was broken by the owner. The fact that we've already seen many, many pics from freaks and no breaks were reported there, I'd say it's a minor issue. As for the nips, while Wolvy and Leo were designed to be displayed shirtless the T-800 wasn't.

Yea still, that connector looks pretty thin and could snap easy though i am not sure if it is the same design as a regular TT internally, still going to be a bit more carefull postioning the shoulders forward and back(not that i mess with it much).

I think the nipples should have been painted since he is nude in the begining and in the garage later on, hell..if you are going to paint the torso then might as well do the nips too.

arnie isn't 100% perfect, but he's close.
of course no figures are, but i love this ht arnie figure,more than any other statue's,figures, model's i've ever seen or own.
i'm tempted on getting a ht marcus wright figure now.

Are the sunglasses hard to put on his head? Im afraid to try because they seemed so delicate.

Not hard at all, they fit perfectly snug too(at least on mine). Just make sure you lip each end over the ears first and then slide them over the sculpt, should fit securely on there.

I would, but next to Dutch is Predator (think you can see tha base) and making Dutch taller would make the predator seem even more short. If Hot Toys makes the Predator from the new film based on *THE* Predator, and if the body is larger, I may buy a spare body and swap them or something. Shall see...

Ya, HT made the Predators a little too short. They should be more like Vader height. P1 is just barely taller than Dutch, that always bothered me. I hope HT makes bigger bodies for the new Preds, so I can transfer a couple of them over to new bodies (I'd leave the P2 and P2 Elder alone though, since they look awesome).

Thanks Cheungkinmen. I've emailed WaiMan at Onsixthbruce. I've not heard anything back yet but I know he's been moving house. A friend of mine got a Godfather figure last year and one of the legs was broken at the knee. He got a replacement part direct from Hot toys, but it doesn't look like I could just get a replacement arm as the tab has broken off the inside of the torso.

Nade' launcher is called the M79 mate. Not really sure about the bandolier (grenade vest) e-bay probably your best bet. Same for the M79 as well. There's some customisers on here who maybe can help as well.

Painting them would mean using a different paintcolor, a different brush, more time to dry etc., so it's not like this would be a 5 second job for the production. I think often people don't realize how much thought, money- and timemanagement has to go into these things, maybe HT decided that the cost of painting them would not be worth it in the long run.

Its not a huge deal for me, maybe i will paint my nipples.

I doubt cost had anything to do with it, Wolverine's and Leonidas's were done and are around the same price or less then the T-800.

I also noticed they left out some vein paint work around the neck area that we could see on the prototype T-800.

I'm fine with the lack of veins, on Wolverine it works because Hugh made effort to have his veins popping out all the time. While Arnie was very fit for T2, his veins weren't bulging out everywhere. I think the figure looks great. If anything, I'd have defined the muscles of the neck a bit more.
