I was thinking, I'm not sure where but someone was stating that the T2 sculpt was blowing the Dutch's sculpt away and in reality it's not that far off for a older HT's figure.

Still holding it's ground for me anyways.

I think the camo paint hides a lot of the Dutch sculpt... and of course the hair (while very well done) is not as nice as the T2.

But, its a great sculpt of Dutch and one I'm happy to have in my collection.

That's one of the pics I was going by. I realize a lot of his bios say they're brown (although some say blue), but every pic I see is like that one. :huh

Oh and to stay more on topic, I'd say the Dutch sculpt is on par with the T-800 minus the hair, but then again I don't own either figure (Still waiting on my T-800).

:dunno

Definitely one of my favs and will never leave my grasp... some hate the body but it's only going in one position for me :rock

His eyes don't seem brown to me.

:lol:lol:lol

Hey everyone posting about BBTS....He is about to ship!!!!!!1 Mines in the "warehouse" along with test mech stark.

Yup, mines in my pile-o-loot. Funny thing is I did not get an email from them that my card was charged. I wish BBTS gives a heads up like sideshow does.

I wonder if they will be considered a Re-Issue like the Apple Seed figures were or just another batch?

I should get mine this week. I personally love the body but I wish HT would actually define the triceps a little. :dunno

Put the grey T-shirt on him for the first time since taking it off on day one. Going to display him like this for a bit without the glasses.

More pics!

I reckon the sculpt is hard to represent well in a photo when looking at it front on. It's such an awesome headsculpt though.

Nice one Platty. I agree the headsculpt seems to be best photographed in profile/almost profile. I think thats a problem with the slightly off facial dimensions and the eyes possibly being a smidge too far apart. Still its hard to want to hide those eyes with the sunglasses because they are dead-on to Arnie IMO.

Still waiting on my other T-800 but Eric was considerate enough to explain the delay without me even having to contact him so all is well, it'll get to me. And I got Sarah Connor yesterday so I'm happy.

From my understanding, some folks like owning collectibles that are rare because they are rare. These are the guys who want Sideshow to have low edition sizes on their statues.

I couldn't give a toss about rarity. Very popular figures should be rereleased without consideration to maintaining aftermarket value of the existing units IMO. I say that whilst having valuable figures myself. Its nice to hear HT will be making more of this T-800. More people should have the opportunity to get him and more people should have the opportunity to buy another if they wish.

Guy is starting to grow on me a bit more.

I personally don't care about rarity, but it is something that some collectors care about. As such, it is something Hot Toys probably factors into their decisions.
