Paying $300 or $400 for this T 800 is entirely your business! If it's worth that much to you- so be it. Does the seller look bad because he GETS that much money for it? Why should he feel "guilt" over overcharging someone?
Ok say you have one to sell- you have two guys wanting it- one says he'll pay you $200 and one says he'
ll pay you $350. Tell me you're going to take $200 and feel like a prince for doing it.
Supply and demand- very simple. Go justify art collectors, watch collectors , any collector paying $$$ over what the original cost or was sold for. It is how the secondary market works.

Just got one of these today, what an awesome figure! What type of gatling gun did you guys use to make it the Cyberdyne version?

Either the one that came with the Hot Toys MMS02 Battledamaged T-800 or the recent COOmodels M134, both of which can be seen at this Toys2 link:

Go for the COOmodels one, its newer, has more detail and a better finish.

COOmodels also made an M79 and grenade bandolier and also a carrier bag for the mini-gun's ammo sold seperately. You need black gloved hands too.

I have 2 T2 T-800 's / i was thing of selling one of them , and a Harley with it (new brite) , you guys think i should? Its 100% complete with box , just displayed in my detolf since opening it :dunno

I bought one and loved it. I have him set up from Cyberdine with the COo Mini Gun, by far my favourite HT figure to date. I was lucky enough to score a second one from a boardie (after they sold out) for 180 shipped?

One day I will sell it to trade up for something, maybe an MK1? Who knoes, but its nice to have that kinda backup incase a figure you want comes available.

How many grenades does Arnie have in the film? Just looking at the NECA figure, it has 11 grenades on its bandolier with space for 12.

I'm looking at a few moments in the movie and I'm counting 11, though in a few shots of him first wearing it, you only see 10. I'd say 10's close enough, 11 or 12 seems like a random number to hold. I've got 10, but you can see in the movie, they run from atop his shoulder around his side, so definitely need to mod the bandolier to get that look.

I've been trying to get this figure for a while now, but can't find it for a price that I can accept. I really should have gotten it when it was first released. I would absolutely love to have it, but I just cannot justify to myself spending $300 bucks on it!

Have there been any announcements about future T2 releases? A rerelease, or a battle damaged version?

Whats wrong with the forum tonight? Just posted here and I can't see it. The section overview says I'm the most recent poster and yet when I enter the thread theres no sign of my post. ___k it, think I'll pack it anyway.

Yeah, the forum is acting real wonky tonight.

Sizewise the grenades are good but 2 things are slightly off - the loops don't hide enough of each grenade-

and the grenades aren't spaced apart enough compared to the film-

The shape of the nade is a bit off too. I'm a weapon nerd so I like it to be accurate to the real thing not the movie :D

The problem is, for now, you have to make compromises with the grenades, accurrate shape and paint or accurrate size. M79 grenades look accurate but way too small on the figure, the Soldier Story grenades aren't accurate or even sold as M79s, but are proper scale to the figure to match the movie. To me, the figure looks better with proper scale than shape and color and I've had both.

Actually the scale is off in the movie ;) They are bigger than the 40mm that the M79 (And also the more modern M203) launcher accepts.

edit: You can easily see it when Arnie is loading a new shell into the M79, the one he loads is alot smaller than the ones on the belt.

The difference in shape of the Soldier story 'nades to what he wears in the film is hardly noticeable. Its just the tips far as I can see, they're more rounded on the SSs but they work for me. I do want to alter the bandolier though.

as we suspected then - they went for a more impressive aesthetic than weapon realism.

I've ordered a second badloier, soon as it's in, I'm going to remove the strip from both and use the 2 holster strips to spread out the slots correctly. At his point, it's the only detail really bugging me anymore about my bash.
