Oh I forgot to mention these pics were taken before I added saddlebags and removed the rear sidelights for greater accuracy.

Actually I haven't said how much I paid. Probably more than many would deem worth but for me personally I think its been one of the best buys I've ever made - $580 *cough before shipping cough*

Whoa!! That is a lot. Hey a thing is worth as much as your willing to pay.

It was fully assembled and painted so considering that it was ultimately cheaper than if I bought it as an unbuilt kit and then had to send it off to be assembled by a pro.

However...there is something I've felt regret over. Fellow boardie Cybervillain was going to make an offer on this one too. In fact as I realised only after I had put in my offer he was the one who posted the link in the first place. So, while I'm sure this happens many a time, I do feel bad that I won this piece instead of him. It was over so fast - the seller was online at the same time - he pretty much immediately accepted my offer. He evidently didn't think he'd sell it at his BIN price of $650, I think it was, and didn't expect to get a higher best offer than what I put in. So he accepted my offer straight away before Cybervillain even got a chance. So I've sorta felt like I screwed him out of it. I haven't mentioned this till now out of a sense of embarrassment. Sorry Cybervillain. :monkey3

I have a question.

Has anyone here bought an MMS 117 Terminator MISB where the figure already comes wearing the black shirt while the gray one was the extra in the bottom left tray?

The reason I ask, the first one I bought when it came out was wearing the gray shirt and I had to swap them to black. It was clearly new.

The one I bought recently though is wearing the black, I thought it was odd. I checked the two sticker tabs and it appears that they've never been cut or removed. I bought it MISB and was hoping that it was just that, MISB.

Anyone open one fresh where it was wearing black?

^No. All mine were wearing the grey shirt. Perhaps some from the second run of the figure were clothed in the black in-package?

That definitely is interesting. Mine came wearing the grey shirt as well.

That's what I thought. My first one came with the grey and every pic I see online has it wearing grey.

I don't want to make a big stink about it, but it was advertised as MISB. I'm kind of OCD when it comes to that because the first thing that comes to mind when I open these sort of things (high end collectibles) is 1.) I'm the first owner to open it 2.) Any damages that could occur would be because of me. It's crazy, I know. But I just don't like buying used 1/6 figures. I want them case fresh.

I don't know though. All the inserts are in there, just like my first one. I see the plastic around the head, the plastic tray and foam protecting the sunglasses and neck/head (though the foam is between his legs now). The shirt stuck out like a sore thumb.

It's ironic to me. I bought it with the sole purpose and intention to keep it as is with the grey shirt, since the first one I bought I used the black one. Now I get it and it appears that I have to swap em out.

Now, I'm this close to just opening it. I trust my seller, but man I'm worried. When I first bought it I was thinking "how could someone not open this?" due to the fact I own one and it's a great, popular figure. I'm afraid if I open it up though and cut those seals (which again, don't appear to be cut or moved) something will be wrong with it. I thought about contacting the seller since I just got it today but I don't want to make a fuss.

But then again, it could have been removed and put back in.

____ING COMPULSIONS.

Could it have been a genuine factory 'error' that the black shirt got put on? Sort of a one off. Like if it was a Hasbro Star Wars figure we'd be talking about it being a variant.

That's what I'm thinking, but what are the chances of that happening if that is indeed the case? I mean, hahaha, I bought it for the grey shirt. I mean yeah, it takes like 5 seconds but you know what I mean.

You think it would be rude if I asked the seller, "YO BRO, YOU SURE YOU DIDN'T OPEN DIS UP? ....... SHIRT HE'S WEARING IS BLACK, SHOULD BE GREY."

Or should I just open the damn thing? I just don't want any problems at this point. I'd rage if this is one of the broken or reversed arm ones though.

Yep, since I have more than 1 T2 T-800 I didn't mind switching this one onto a standard TT to achieve more realistic bike poses. I figure the reason others haven't done that is just not being quite as obsessive as me with multiple purchases - they've only got 1 or 2 and don't want to waste the muscle body by not using it with the figure its intended for which is fair enough.

Great idea.
The extra muscle body can be used for Thor. :D
