I bought two of this few days ago for my fatboy telephone. Waiting for them to arrive.

^I'm using 1 of these on either side. All I did was colour them in using black permanent marker. I used spare T-1000 trouser belts tied around them for the buckles and then to recreate detail I noticed in the referance pics I was using (see below) I cut strips of tape that came with figures like Billy Sole, Chris Taylor and Sgt.Barnes and applied it as needed to the bags - then coloured that in black too.

Haha no worries man, I know you mean no harm. I'm an amateur too and just experiment with different lights etc., don't have any special equipment except for a tripod.
I definitely agree about the neck too. IIRC I didn't pull the head out, just had him look up, which is not a flattering pose for the fig. It highlights the neck issue as there are no shadows to conceal it IMO. Same goes for the lighted neck and black background, it makes the neck appear even slimmer than it actually is.
Dude, that´s amazing.
Didn´t had a look at your bags, but you made one awesome job there, really.
Did you use just a standard true type a-dev? Fantastic custom btw!!!!
Thanks. Not bad isn't it considering how amateur my method was. Permanent black marker!
Cheers Snoop. I don't know exactly what TT it is to be honest as I switch them from figure to figure and end up losing track. But yeah its not a muscle body - just a plastic TT with varying layers of bubblewrap taped around relevant areas to make the build look right. Again its not very good at all as a standing figure but suits my purposes perfectly well as a permanent bike rider. An added benefit of it being a normal TT is less weight on top of the fragile bike.

Agreed.Amateur or not I think that poster shot you took is one of my favorite pics of this figure Ive seen on this forum. Looks great. The one with clouds in the back is very nice as well. It looked like a perfect day. Good work. Lets see more
I think those were my exact words@Elämän:
I´s literally sitting in front of my PC, read your post and shouted:
"Noooo, damn...!"
So sorry, those are perfect, man...
Thanks I tried my best with those two. Still I feel my Danko is a bit bland, though...@Elämän:
Btw: Didn´t post on your customs but love your Red Heat and Commando Arnold, buddy.
I think those were my exact words
Thanks for the sympathy, man.
eBay has those bags in brown, but I dunno how to dye them black without making the material sticky

Agreed.
It's so good, the poster shot would fool most non-collectors.
Yeah I think it's because the light is coming slightly from below, and the sculpt looks better lighted slightly from above, with the shadows falling down on his face, not upwards.
edit: Way back from page 780, but this is one of my favorite T-800 pics, and it shows the lighting from above (found the post because I saved that shot the same day ).
Ya, you literally bought those right under my nose. I was just about to hit buy and they were gone...
There's nothing similar on bay right now.
I'm sorry about that, I have put them in my watch list two weeks ago while waiting for the fatboy telephone to arrive.
Too bad we aimed for the same items.
