Is there anywhere besides ebay that I can get replacement hands for the T-800? A part of the wrist peg broke off and is stuck inside of one of the hands :(

What you need is a tiny drill bit or very tiny screw. Screw into the broken piece aways and it should hold enough to pull the piece out. It's what I've heard everyone else its happened to does. Then you can just use one of your extra wrist pegs. Good Luck.

The significant inaccurracies are:

- Grenades too small
- Grenade holsters too close together
- Only 1 buckle instead of 2

Now, while that's only a couple things, particularly the grendade size, they're the defining traits from the movie.

When I first got the COOModel bandolier I did this comparison and really noticed how tiny the grenades are compared to film ones.

So I sought out better grenades and thanks to some fellow freaks, secured some.

But it looked too silly with the slots so close to each other, and even worse with larger grenades, so, I bought a second bandolier, removed the strip that holds the grenades on, sewed it back on using the strip from the 2nd bandolier to space them out properly, used the buckle to have 2 and arrived at this.

While mine's right having 2 buckles, it's still off, the movie one has 2, one's about the size of what comes with the COOModel, the other is much thicker and really pops, you see it on his shoulder in the steel mill as the bandolier shifts on him.

If NECA had done a 12" Cyberdyne figure I'd have taken the bandolier from that, they got i perfect, problem is, the only 12" one they did is the final battle with no grenades on it.

Ouh, man.
:slap
Of course, I even saw your bettered bandolier a few months ago, totally forgot that.
But you´re right and yours looks great, Sean.
But I like mine and the complete look and even the small grenades.
Taste and what´s important to oneself is the most important I guess.
Your taste: accuracy
Mine: Just the overall look.
:wink1:

@Dollmanron For real?!?!?!

It doesn't matter to me what you want for your figure, the original question was how accurrate are the COOModel parts, and as far as the badolier goes, that's my answer. I didn't get their M79 or gatling gun or bag so I can't comment on those much except the coloring of the M79 being way off.

Wish Hot Toys would quit dicking around and make a BD T-800

At the moment I'm relieved further Terminator figures haven't materialised what with all the other must-buys coming out between now and 2nd qtr 2012 not to mention all the custom projects I've signed up for. But yeah I really hope Terminator is merely 'on hold'. If they've just given up on it altogether......wtf

Good point. There's so much coming out it would be problematic with new Terminator stuff. I know I need a breather for a bit to catch up.

Not me. I mainly collect terminator products, so I wouldnt mind at all if HT showed pics of a new T-800. :)

Cool! My collection is slowly becoming more and more Terminator! At about 75% now, and I can see it getting higher! IMO the HT T800 Arnies are the best 1/6 figures ever!

Terminator is the way to go! And yeah my T-800's are my favorite figures that HT has made.

Same here, T2 BD T-800 is such a wanted figure for me, there's just a couple more figures i want ever made and i could stop buying forever.

I've said the same but then I think of the Enterbay 1/4 scale, I'm buying that...and others if they make them so thats potentially a whole other scale of the same characters I have at 1/6 and 7". And if Hot Toys is still going strong in another 10 years and they've somehow just kept improving in that time - what if they decide to revisit Terminator again? I'd probably buy them again. :dunno Hopefully if that happens there'll literally be nothing else I'm interested in.

Basically these are the licenses that will keep me collecting to some degree or another:

Terminator
Predator
Alien
Robocop
Hasbro Star Wars OT

Outside of those I will always be temped by and often purchase Batman, Superman, Spiderman and Schwarzennegger & Stallone figures generally. I would almost certainly buy John McClane and Hans Gruber from Die Hard, Riggs and Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon and Maximus from Gladiator.

For me, my collecting is focused on these licenses in this order of importance.

1. Rambo (all movies)
2. Terminator (T2 above all but open to nice T1 and T4 items)
3. Godzilla
4. Batman (Keaton and Nolan)
5. Pirates of the Caribbean
6. JAWS (which fortunately, there's little made from it)
7. Star Wars (I still love the movies, but I have and have had a lot of
stuff over the years and it's just not a focal license now, very selective)
8. Rocky (Love the movies, but not a huge collecting priority)

Outside of that, I'd also go for a nice Maximus from Gladiator, or a really nice Die Hard McClane, or Hugh Jackman Wolverines. That's about it.
