Incidentally if one had never seen the trailers you wouldn't know yet why the T-1000 frowned at that mannequin. At that point in the film we had yet to see him in liquid metal form.

Although in reality my budget wouldn't have allowed for it at this stage anyway, I just missed out on an opportunity to get the great HT T-1000 for a good price via a local e-tailer.. they've very recently sold out of him. The thought of secondary market prices is also making me gag. :monkey4

It's always the way though isn't it; you don't want a certain thing until it's hard to acquire.. :slap :lol

The T-1000 is worth the money, even above retail. Its a DX in all but name (and no PERS).

I still remember when I first got him (I bought 3). I had a 2 weeks off work as I was recovering from a tonsilectomy. Maybe the most fun I've ever had with a figure putting together my different variations - even despite an agonising sore throat.

Thanks for rubbing it in man.. :lol

Nah - I'd like it.. but as I said, not possible right now. I've already got a few things on the way that I'm really looking forward to.

Maybe shipping is too high but the T-1000s i've seen on ebay have been at retail price, i feel like they overprpduced him and now places are stuck with inventory.

I've only been collecting for two weeks and I already am talking myself into paying the crazy price for a T2 Arnold.

To be honest, I haven't really checked around. It was just one of those moments when you've been casually monitoring a certain item on your preferred e-tailer's site, & once the last one's finally gone.. you feel like you should've bought it.

That said, I will get Mr Patrick at some point down the road.. & a-dev, you'll be the first to know mate. :wink1:

Pretty much this. I know alot of us in the T1000 thread bought multiples of this figure (which TBH I think thats what he was designed for), I ended up with 4. 3 on Display, and 1 MIB.

I recently sold the MIB one, and could barely get what I paid for it. So I think I sold it to a boardie for 150 shipped or something.

You can still get him at below retail at gohastings with a good coupon code. I got mine for $131 shipped. Didn't even want him, but the price was too good to pass up.

In addition to the slight marijuana smell in the torso area of the body, I also noticed the pistol's ammo clip seems to be "leaking" slightly. Once again, it's on both figures. I'm guessing this little oil was lubricant to make sure the clip came out of the pistol easier.

I just saw this on toys2.net and went for it. Had to shell out $341 shipped ($41 shipping to US ouch!). Only the second time I purchased a figure above PO or retail price, but the temptation has been too strong. Really looking forward to getting him.

Yeah he comes back into stock at Toys2 every now and again.

Yeah. I was really shocked to see it and for $299. The shipping is what really hurt.

Can someone tell me if the quality of the Coomodel gatling gun and grenade gun is worth the $50 and $30 price tag?

Well I don't know. When I convert those dollars into Euros the price looks better for me, so yeah to me, they are worth it.

But - I prefer the M79 grenade launcher from the Comedian figure than this COOmodels one. It has a nicer (though no more accurate) strap and the weapon itself looks a better colour match to what Arnie had in the film. The COOmodel M79 strap is plain black, pretty feeble and twists on itself - not to mention its pretty hard to figure out how to attach it.

The COOmodels Gatling gun is great though, my favourite of whats out there. The most detailed with the best looking finish. The MMS02 T-800's minigun is very plasticy in comparison. Only problem with the COOmodel one is I had to glue it in some places to keep it together.

Oh one thing though, strange I forgot about it, but the COOmodels M79 gives you the grenade bandolier which itself isn't super accurate but I think its what most people with Cyberdyne kitbashes are using, including me. So you may be better off buying that set too.
