I think the ledger jokers popularity is starting to fade, not saying they won't charge over 200+ for the new joker, but I don't think the older one will go up in value when this is reveiled, likely will go down like everything else hot toys redoes.

Two words. Harley Davidson. Either they can't get licensing rights, or the cost would be too high to make it worthwhile. As a long time HD owner I know how they operate.

Yeah, but HT / Sideshow are pretty good at getting license rights. But yes, there are more details to a bike than a batmobile, so price would probably be a higher, but I wouldnt care as long as the finnish is on par with teh Tamiya version

But we aren´t talking the same figures here...
Ht is 1/6 and Enterbay is 1/4, is that correct?

Well i was talking about both.
My love of the HT and the Enterbay.

The bubble head thing that i used to see in the 1/4 photos is no more in hands. It's really a beautiful piece.
But damn it's big ^^!

But no point of comparing with the 1/6.
When HT will release their 1/4 T1 we will see...

Harley has gotten a bit more strict and pricey on their licensing. Back in the early days of the modern era (post AMF) days they whored it out to everyone. Not so much anymore. Back then was to help rebuild their image and boost customer confidence. I think most people would be better off grabbing the Barbie one for $50 and do some customizing on it.

Ok I am still stalking ebay for this T-800. What would be a fair price to pay??? What would be the most I should consider paying???

As low as $220 and no higher than $250. After the DX10 people will probably beluck to even get $200. So pay now or be patient, it's a win - win now. Just look at all the hoarders who are stuck trying to sell their for $300+.

Agreed, if your patient and wait a bit longer you'll get version 1 for close to cost but there are still some who are asking too much right now. Perfect example, last week i had a member on this site offer his for over $400 and then, luckily a fellow freak who isn't like the scalper wanting an arm and leg for one offered his for under $200 so be patient and don't give in to those asking ridiculous prices. I don't think v1 t800 will be as hard to move as the p1 is now but a lot of those who got it to make a buck down the road won't be cashing in now like they thought.:yess::rotfl

Just wanted to thank you guys in here for the discussion about the shells a few pages ago. :clap I tracked them down after reading which ones were the best. Now I want to start my own bandolier, just pieced together what I had in my parts bin and got out a needle and thread.

Any suggestions/critiques, especially from those familiar with all the details (looking at you dev and MaulFan :wink1:)? I'm not sure about the width, but looking at some reference shots it seemed right. I know the teeth on the buckle shouldn't be there, but that's all I had right now.

The straps holding the grenades to the bandolier should be a bit less wide than the bandolier, looks good in your photo, and then each grenade should be fairly well spread apart. That's where the ones made to date have gone wrong, they put the grenades on top of each other more like a bullet chain and that's not right.

Good that you have a silver buckle. Your bandolier is already shaping up nicer than mine. Mines a bit hodge-podge to be honest. Really hoping the eventual HT one will be able to replace what I've done.

Yeah I noticed that the difference in width is bit bigger in the movie than on my current version. I think the "bottom" strap should be a bit wider. I think I'll finish this version and then make a new one when I find something wider.
BTW, are the shells really that green? Some shots make it look green at the bottom, others golden.

Thanks man. It's actually really easy to make when you have the right webbing. I just got the shells today and just thought I'd try it out with the pieces I have here.

Does anybody know how many loops there are exactly on the bandolier? I just checked my DVD and definitely counted 11, possibly even 12. I'm just not sure between the two, anybody know for certain?

edit: Alright, imfdb.com says this:

The M79 presents a nightmare of continuity problems. The bandolier varies both in quantity of grenades and arrangement of remaining grenades as the movie heads toward its climax. At the end of the day the bandolier started with 11 rounds which somehow translated to firing 7 before running out of ammo.

So I guess 11 is correct, unless there somehow was already an empty loop at the bottom end from the start, although I doubt it.

I believe if you really watch an analyze the movie, you see only 10 at a point as well. I opted for 10 as it was even number.

Thanks for the input. I also just noticed that the new DX has 12 loops/shells. When Dyson brings in the explosive barrells (at Cyberdyne) the camera pans around a bit with T-800 standing in the middle, and there are clearly 11 loops (10 with shells, and one empty in the middle) visible in that shot. You can't see what's behind his back though, but I'll just leave it at 11. Now I regret only getting 10 shells. :lol

Re: Hot Toys - MMS 117 (is it that bloody?)

I guess perhaps you have discussed this issue before!

I just got some MMS117 accessories today - to add to the DX10, later when I buy it.

I just wanna ask you, guys... is the mechanical arm supposed to be THAT bloody? I see some videos and photos with some shiny metal parts but mine looks 90% all painted with ketchup! Could it be the lighting and camera flash with the other videos 'n photos? Please lemme know... Thanx!
