None of HT females were a fast sale out. I though Alice could break that thrend. The bright side if it's weak/poor sales, you could pick it up cheaper later. A source for smaller bust female ....and HT should really release another batch of carded TTF.

The other potential big saler would be Babydoll.

The likeness is there.
The big thing is that the face is much wider to be Milla.
Eitherway, I'll still keep my PO as I want this figure, but I do wish they would narrow the face down a bit so it would more like her.
But I do see the resemblance on this pic.
Milla has a really narrow face that's what's throwing this sculpt off.

Ugh, I was so looking forward to this one...for now I'm going to convince myself that I did not see these photos and that she will look like the proto shots. I really want this figure - I'm keeping my PO and hoping for the best!

I think it's just the bad lighting in the photos.

Short lighting emphasizes facial contours more than broad lighting.

The only difference I see to the sculp it the way the hair hangs down around the face.

I'm not canceling my PO because of flash photography through a display case window.

Since we're in the Horror section, I think Alice fits perfectly... she looks simply horrific.

I visit this thread everyday hoping for the old head sculpt To show up. Looks like no luck, that new sculpt is perfect for the October Halloween release cause it is one ugly mothersucker.

HT being Chinese majority (HK people English on average are average at best) probably don't even hang out here.

I just went on a Resident Evil movie binge. The camera picture definitely shows a much bigger faced Alice.

I hope it's just lighting and angle error.

I think a slight touch up to the sculpt's shape is okay and enough to make it look more accurate.

Also, is it just me or does the neck seem way too thin in some of these pictures compared to the sculpt?

Quick photoshop work, a small touch up on perspective and lip size.

i asked a HK seller when its released and he said december.

seeing as i can not get onto hot toys HK because it always says 'this site may harm your computer' i cant get on it to see if they have any dates and the japanese site doesnt say.

is it just the lighting n stuff that makes the head look like a bootleg figure i.e theres no skin texture or realism etc.?

i cant help but compare this to other head sculpts and it just looks cheap n a bit nasty. male features are more angular and easier to capture but we have seen they got quite close with the proto sculpt of Alice, the sucker punch sculpts look good to me ...but what the F happenened to Alice?

its quite ironic that Millia Jovovich is obviously photogenic seeing as shes a model but her model is not photogenic at all!!
