i find it hilarious. how peeps keep using camera angles and lighting to excuse a fugly sulpt.

:exactly::goodpost:

yep.. the first one (on the first page) actually looked like her.

These new ones looks nothing like her.. maybe her stunt double.

Lighting and Angles do not change something this drastic.

I think the new one has her eyes and nose but the head they are on is not milla's

I think it's just the bad lighting in the photos.

Short lighting emphasizes facial contours more than broad lighting.

The only difference I see to the sculp it the way the hair hangs down around the face.

I'm not canceling my PO because of flash photography through a display case window.

:exactly:
when will they learn???

Recent pic from Toy Hunter with the alternate hairpiece. Looks slightly better and the HS doesn't look so wide anymore.

There might still be hope folks!

We need official HT pics not phone camera pics from shows and shop windows. You'd think they would have taken some before she did the rounds.

Crappy photos don't proof a thing. I don't believe that the headsculpt turns out the way it was in the beginning, when eventually some people complained about it. And I also don't think that slight changes would result in a better likeness to Milla. It's (imho) bad sculpting, captured with bad cameras resulting in pure frustration.

Same with the guy with the hat and the whip! It's annoying when you see others that they've knocked out of the park first time, then you get these two and it gets so frustrating!!

Ok, yeah, I'm not actually buying either of them, but I feel for the guys pre-ordering them as they just don't know what to do. I mean, if she is crap will she be tough to sell on!? Would you make your money back ever!?

Nobody can predict the future, but I'm pretty sure that she will be among those very low priced HT figures that you will find on eBay all the time, especially when those, who preordered her and who didn't get the news receive a figure that doesn't look like the one that was shown in the Sideshow Gallery.

There's still too much time between now and release stateside to go full blown drama queen. :cuckoo:

True, but, even if she goes on eBay for a lower than RRP price, who will want her if she's as bad as folk are predicting!?

She could only be saved if someone does a decently priced custom head and paints it like Headplay do. So far, I don't yet know if Headplay themselves have the talent to pull her off. Based on the last two female heads they did the odds wouldn't be good.

We'll see......

Let's assume she does look jacked (which I don't think she will), from the neck down she's still perfect and Milla heads can be had from $20+ if you know where to look.

As I said... no one can predit the future, but it seems very likely, that things are going to develope this way. And don't get me wrong - anyone who still likes this figure, will pay whatever HT or SC charges them. The reason I complain is that I am one of those frustrated buyers, who had her in preorder and then cancelled the figure after realizing that HT turned her (imho) from gold into crap.

Speculation. :lecture:lecture:lecture
