I'm not sure I can buy both anymore ($170... seriously HT?!) and have been leaning towards buying Amber more than Babydoll since Amber was my favorite from the teaser posters. But since i've read some people online say that her figure looks like Tila Tequila, it kinda makes me not want her anymore. I can't unsee it from some photos. I hate that _____.

Too much awesome stuff coming out in Q3/4 to throw money at this. I dig the costume but for that price I want a perfect likeness. Sod-all accessories too. $160-180 would've seemed outrageous 6 months ago, but somehow there are plenty of people now willing to see this as a fair price these days. Good luck to them.

Yeah and like BW this one will hit $250 on the secondary market soon after it becomes hard to get. People laughed at $135 for BW and now it's double that!!
HT won't make anywhere near what they did on BW...sooooo...

This is all speculation on my part, but I think HT looks at the preorder numbers now in regards how big to make a production run. The prices are set in advance, so it's not that HT will make less and charge more, but more like they know they want to make X amount of money on this fig and plan to sell x amount at x price, but depending on how brisk the PO sales are, they may up the production based on that. There's a minimum they have to make and sell to get a profit, but only HT and possibly certain of their suppliers would be able to guess that.

Funny thing about the likeness is that when I went to see the movie, people were saying it was Tila Tequila. The face sculpt does look a little to round in the cheeks to be Jamie Chung but it still looks pretty nice. I've been waiting for this one so I'll drop the scratch for it.

In regards to this, all I can say is I kinda regret getting that Mark III Iron Man but glad I didn't throw down for any of the Jokers or Batmen. I would have cried. lol

Really? I know the BB Batman goes for a pretty penny but I've seen quite a few TDK Batman figures go for pretty cheap since the DX came out.
