not much in the way of spoilers, but I'll tag it anyway:

I wouldn't say the tone was darker, probably similar to the Avengers. Coulson is his usual calm, cool, collected and funny self. They address his "death" and then later you find out there's a lot more to know about it. I believe at the SDCC panel they said that they're not just going to come out and explain it, but it's going to take several episodes to get the whole story.

Definitely a lot of humor in it, just the right amount IMO like The Avengers.

And wait till you see Lola.

I just put my order in at Sideshow for this figure. I think Darkmatter might be on to something about how popular this figure will become once the TV show hits. Plus Coulson has appeared in all the Marvel movies so he is pretty much a must have figure.

I know that this has been quoted before , but it's a good one from Viper. Who Knew that Coulson would be so popular,who knew? I glad my wait list was converted to a live order. I know it's just a man in a suit!
