Like I said before, this figure has nothing to hide behind. If we don't see a great sculpt, this will be really difficult to sell. This is my most anticipated figure from the Avengers line. Please HT, don't screw the pooch on this one.

Still in shock that my man Coulson is getting a release.

I love the fact that the people who don't like this is being made, feel the need to continually post that here.

Coulson is in Captain America First Avengers. You can see him at Times Square along with Nick Fury at the end.

All I did was point out an obvious disconnect between your words and your actions. You chose to react. And I am a woman by the way, so complete fail on that needless assumption.

There is just this absurd rash of hyperbole here over a minor character, who the vast majority of people who watched Avengers could neither identify by sight nor by name.

And yet for all the fervent declarations I can only think of one person using him for their sig or avatar.

I've shown the HT Coulson pic to several co-workers and many of them said that's the one Avengers figure they would definitely get. I'll be one of them but I'm afraid I may have to skip the Chitauri...me bank account canna take the strain.

Definitely, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to surpass the box office of Avatar..?

Edit: I thought Avatar made like 2 billion, but I looked it up and it was 2,7 billion dollars!!! I so wanted The Avengers to beat Avatar...

Conservative estimate... Japan will generally provide an additional 50million USD and up to 80 to 100 Million if the film is very successful.

Avengers will make a little over 1.5 billion for certain... 1.6 would be very unlikely. It'll will remain at No.3 and not surpassing Titanic/Avatar without a re-release. No other films (TDKR, Hobbit.. etc) will surpass Avengers at least this year.

Yes indeed he does deserve it. He sort of ties the films together. I am thinking he might not make it to our shelves till 2013 though. That would be ok with me, I would be more likely to get him if we wait a while. ESPECIALLY if he is not $200+.

I also agree, he deserves to be made. He was a very likeable character and I was upset when he was killed off. In fact, that was the only thing about the Avengers film I didn't like.

I will definitely buy this figure. And his character will surely be missed in the future films.

Well Avatar as well as Titanic both had re-releases in theaters which bumped up their box office grosses....so maybe if The Avengers had a re-release they could have a chance of moving up the list.
