probably but Avengers 2 comes out in 2015 so i expect HT to release figures from that movie in 2016 so that's still 3 years from now ...

I'm sure the X-Men figures will come out right after the new X-Men movie comes out. If Hot Toys was smart, they would release new figures along with the movie. I'm sure they'd sell more if they did it that way instead of bringing them out now, right in between the two movies.

Just because people want it doens't mean it should come before figures that were fully ready first. Barney Ross and Charles Xavier were noth ready to go at ani-com while thise was a wip, why should this come first?

Avengers has every single main character, X-Men First Class has none not one damn figure.Main characters from a license announced long before another should come before side characters of that other

I've waited since before Avengers was even announced and then waited through all of the Avengers figures for them to finally start X-Men and then they pull this crap by doing an avenger side character instead.

i'm all for HT releasing XFC and Expendables 2... that way I can give my wallet a break.

Oh and that Avengers side character you speak of? He's headlining Marvel's Cineverse S.H.I.E.L.D TV show.

The X-men movies have been FAAAAAR inferior to the avengers movies. Especially in the area that matters MOST.... Box Office. X3 was a debacle. So baaaad. Origins? Equally ****ty. ANd FC? I don't know what 'first class' that was cuz the one I grew up with was always Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, Angel and Marvel Girl.

Comics ≠ Movies, otherwise there wouldn't be three Blade movies. He certainly wasn't the most popular comics character Marvel had.

It's not about figure balance or whom we want. It's all about dollars. Hot toys could care less what they put out or completing lines. MONEY TALKS Avengers blows all else outta the water right now and that's where the money is. I'm sure if Xmen was the blockbuster of the year they'd be rolling with that now but ooohhh, it's not. Avengers IS.

It's a combination of things. I've always argued that Hot Toys makes what they want to make as long as the fiances work out that they can. I think things that sell really well like the Nolan Batman stuff and Avengers/Iron Man allows them to do riskier stuff that they want to do.

Of course there's no way to be sure of their motivations, but you can be sure if there's no market for something they can't make it.

This thread isn't about the comics, it is about the movies. The Avenger series of films is pretty much superior to the X films all around. But you can't resist coming into this thread (one you have mentioned multiple times that you hate) and trolling can you. Coulson is an important character in the Avengers and now the new series. He will get more play than James McAvoy as Professor X. Marvel makes great comic films, Fox, not as much.

Coulson has appear in 4 marvel movies, two marvel shorts AND is headlining a new ABC network primetime Marvel Show produced and written and run by Joss Whedon, he of 2 billion dollar box office success. PLUS its a fan favorite character that was well acted and funny. Colby Smuthers? She was laughably bad. The only actor that was wooden in the avengers.
