It's a quotable movie. I don't see you callin' out folk who use the "just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in" video in a bunch of threads.

DVD1 and I had a part of this conversation a few pages back. We shall have to wait and see how it actually goes in reality.

When it said Film it made me think a TV version would come out, and be better, so I'm glade its now TV.

I POd both, these will be my first HTs. I really want the batmobile too but the price is going to be ridiculous.

Just preordered mine from Animarket. $193.50 for Batman, and $179.95 for Robin. Not including shipping, but still the best prices around for preorders!

Grew up watching this show despite how cheesy it was. So excited HT are making these figures! But it seems the sale is not that strong in Asia area (HK at least), no idea will they make the villains from the show. So want to get a riddler and Joker!

I've never understood that (even though, I've, admittedly, said the same thing); what denotes perfection? We say "they're close," but, seriously, what could we possibly do to improve the West or Keaton Batman sculpts? I'm looking, and I'm at a loss.:lol In my opinion, if it can't we improved, it may as well be perfect.:lol

You just shouldn't worry what others think only matters what you like since its your collection not someone else's. plus the vast majority lovvvvve the figures as they are. Thousands are made of each and most sell out. They don't sell out because people think they aren't accurate enough they sell out because they are the greatest most highly detailed figures made of our favorite movies. I believe deep down even the worst complainers still love the figures they just have bad attitudes, need to feel like their voice needs to be heard, and even some weird jealousy issues.

So in the end these figures are amazing and there are far more people out there that love these figures. Most just don't need to go on toy blogs to share their happiness in the hobby.

Well therein lies the problem. The HT sites (their own and their FB page) say 'Movie' but the web page of their official US distributor says 'TV Series' so I suppose you go with the company rather than the distributor for the official line and hope for the best that things will progress to allow a 1:6 Yvonne Craig Batgirl and the TV versions of villains like Julie Newmar's Catwoman.

Sadly, we'll have to wait and see. Still, I am with you on those POs, the Dynamic Duo ordered with a PO on the car a certainty.

We knew these turned out great when we saw them at SDCC still get that buzz when the official pics are out

PO'd them the other night and they've now shot to the top of my most wanted/anticipated list

Local meaning Australia? Yes, Animarket are an Australian owned and run business, with a warehouse in HK where they deal with their supplier.

Actually Action Figure Xpress was cheaper. 188 for Batman and 174 for Robin. Unfortunately they sold out in a few days.

Animarket may be cheap, but I bet they get you on shipping. Since they are in Australia/Hong Kong.
