Shipping is about $50 for both together so still ends up cheaper than sideshow.
Not really. Even if SS shipped them separately, each with the pack out (double box option) It would be $20 shipping for each, so $40 total.

Checked out their site. I did the yen to dollar conversion and they charge a lot for shipping. I am not familiar with their shipping methods, SAL, EMS, large packet? No thanks I will stick with UPS, FEDEx, USPS etc. I am not to confident in a package coming directly from Japan, not to mention a website with prices I have to convert. At least from the domestic website/shops their shipping is cheaper. Also if you look around the forums SS, BBTS, AE, and other local/domestic sites are the most common and reliable places collectors get their stuff from.
My resistance to PO these guys is seriously fading. The more I see, the more I think I want them.
Precisely. His point may have been that its common knowledge because the TV/ Movie licensing thing has been discussed a few times already. It's common knowledge that Newmar and Kitt Catwomen would not happen if they don't have the license for the TV show.
Since both of these are labeled MMS 218/219 they are distinctly based on the film. If they did make any figures from the TV series, they would have a different moniker and a different numerical order. The only TV series figures HT have made were from 'Prison Break'. Not sure how they they were labeled.
You are only charged if you ordered 2 or more of either figure. People want to keep the "shipper box" in mint shape for the purpose of resale value (it's not enough for the figure and "display" box to be mint, but the box the box is shipped in should be mint, as well. . .). Some claim to do this so that the interior box will not be damaged, but in my experience this is a very rare occurrence from Sideshow, and they'll replace it if it does happen. So mostly, resale value. If I cancel my preorder with SS is there a penalty? I found it for $45 less.
Also, why do people want it double boxed?
These do look really good. Any idea when the Batmobile will be released and price? That's what I really want, but of course want these two to put in it. Question is, do I use points for these two or the car....? And if I wait for the car, will these sell out with no chance of getting them later.
The teeth on West are hilarious.

I don't get paying SS all that money for extra box- BBTS always puts them in another box with great bubble wrap.....no charge! You just have to wait alittle longer- typically1-2 weeks.
I know that isn't the case with the SS exclusives- you have no choice there..
