I really like this figure, but I do prefer the light armor slightly more. Still, some of the best Thor figures to date. I think AOU Thor will be pretty similar to these figures as well, so I'm glad I got this one.

Just ordered this with a combination of $100 price reduction and $150 worth of loyalty vouchers from my credit card... via my NZ e-retailer. Cost me $150NZ down from $399NZ...

Now, maybe one day I'll wait and see if I can get the right Capt America figure... If I'm to be honest, I like the Strike Stealth Suit the best....

I posted this a couple pages back. Swapped ankle pegs on both these guys. Makes them the right height. THOR is 12 11/16 inches and Cap is 12 3/16 inches.

Strike suit figure is meh imo..... The costume is very nice but Hot Toys screwed up production. I'd get the AOU Cap, GA Cap or wait for the Civil War version

Must admit, the more I look at AoU, the design and likeness is good... I'm just not much of a fan of the classic Cap look. I know the look is part of his character n all, but at least with the strike suit you feel like they've gone some way to making him a little more 21st Century.. I mean, Batman would look silly if the Adam West version showed up on the big screen in 2016..

I think the look of the costume comes down to preference. I see a lot of collectors looking for the classic Cap look. I just like it because its in the movie
So I like the suit more because like you said, its a Cap for this time

Well, I caved and bought this guy. Was saving some RP for the Han/Chewie pack, but I used $40 in RP to get this guy and figured I would use the triple RP from this guy to replace what I spent.

The triple rewards and free shipping was the tipping point. Now I don't need to worry about spending more for the AoU one. I prefer the armored look anyways.

Not to be a wet blanket but there's a 20% coupon code that works on this guy now.
