Sorry for being so late to the party and for the less than great pic but here's a shot of my first Hot Toys figure. Still trying to find the right pose for him. Any suggestions?

looks great... :clap congrats on your first figure :woo Its a great one to start a collection with, the best Thor to date

Congratulations, he's a great figure to start with :)

I think it just looks great in a museum pose...a great way to start as well...one of my favs.

Agreed! No matter what I do with him, going back to him just standing there holding Mjolnir is always the best. I love this guy. He's even better stood next to Avengers Loki :panic:

Is this a relatively cheap figure to pick up? Realize by the time AoU hulk ships Thor will be the only Avenger I'm missing. Don't care for the character too much but I kinda want to complete the team...

I got him for $200 shipped but I've seen him go for less,

So being new to the forum, I hope I'm not posting this question in the wrong place. I'm still working on finding the right pose for Thor. I've seen some folks wire their capes for dynamic poses. I lack the confidence for that, but came up with a solution. I used a suction up with a hook (not sharp) to drape the cape over, like so...

My questions are, first how does this look and second should I worry about the pelts on his cape disappearing if I leave him like this over time?

I just got this figure. Amazing, and in my opinion my favorite version of Thor thus far. I was shocked at how heavy the hammer was. Great sculpt and costume. My only "nit-pick" is the limited movement in the shoulders. Other than that, I love it.

:clap Agree..... its amazing :duff Congrats on the pickup

Damn damn damn...since I went and got a deal on Winter Soldier Widow, I'm now tempted by this figure being sold for free shipping and triple rewards. Though I'm torn on getting this and waiting on bare-armed AOU Thor. Gah...I might wait it out to see how much the new one ends up being.
