I probably never mentioned it, but a friend of mine bought out the whole room so that five of us could watch it in peace.
We are geeks enough to never talk during an event like that, but we were all sitting with a minimum of five seats between us, and we were all in different rows.
He was texting, and so were the others.
But i never mentioned that, so i can understand that you guys would think i was checking my email in a packed auditorium.
Which i wasn't.
I was in the back row. No-one behind me to get bothered except the projectionist(And you two, lol).

:wink1:sure

Wow...

They always have those announcements before the movie about not texting during, and I always think 'what kind of a ****** would do that?'

...

:lol :rock

:lecture there is nothing worse than having a bright LED screen in the corner of your eye or in your peripheral vision when trying to watch a movie.

And I will never understand the logic of why someone would even have their phone on let alone text or post in the middle of a movie. I mean why bother? Go home sit in your room and spend your money on something else.

I mean someone who posts on this thread WHILE watching a movie needs help.
:dunno

The 89 batmobile was supposed to be my last Hot toys figure. Even the 1966 batman set and car didn't tempt me as much as this figure has. That Head sculpt is just too freaking awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced that this was from a scan of Hemsworth's face.

Wow, rich friend.

I'm just unsure why he intitially quoted me?

What did I do? :(:dunno

Nothing. :1-1:

You made a point I agreed with, and he replied. Your quote was only there for context.

Movie tickets aren't cheap, and I certainly don't pay to look at a 4 inch screen in my lap.

Then again, I don't have a rich benefactor that buys out whole theaters.

I heard some rumour that says the chainmail pattern might actually be molded straight into the arms and chest instead of actual separate pieces.

I would be pretty disappointed if HT did that. That's like something Hasbro would do.

I have mixed feelings about it being two piece also.

That gives us the lovely visible joints where the arm meets the chest.

Really? Do you have an example?

I guess that is photoshopped but it isn't very good as it just looks like they blurred that part as you can still see the line where the arm attaches to the shoulder. It's weird that they would do this for this pic because in their other pics they just show the joints. Like these ones here.

Yeah, noticed that too. Perhaps only when it's already too ugly. :lol

When the arm is outstretched there is gonna be a bigger gap, that's why they photoshopped those pics (badly).

:lol

Maybe. :dunno

Yeah but the bottom pic also has an outstretched arm and that doesn't look photoshopped because the joints are quite visible to me. You are right about the last part though, they did do a bad job trying to cover it up. :lol

That and the lighting is casting wicked shadows. The unPhotoshoped joint probably looked downright ugly in the light.
