I think the word 'exclusive' is just HT marketing ploy to make us collectors feel the need to increase pre-order volume.
Then later on they will just turn around and justify a re-release saying that minor improvements or additions have been made or use it as an excuse to 'help' promote a new movie.

Of course it is. Look what happened with the Midas figure. First off it was exclusive to one market, and prices hit >$1K. Then it was released "exclusively" to another market. Then another. God knows how many places it was "exclusively" released to.

Slap a "limited and exclusive" figure on something, and watch collectors swarm.

Got my figure today. It's nice. But getting the cloak to sit as nicely as the promo pic is tricky.

So my waitlist for this at Sideshow converted. Question is, should I go through with it or cancel? I'm not sure if I want this one or the regular release mroe. Which one would you guys pick if you guys could only get one?

Get the sleeveless. Look at it this way, they will more than likely release a sleeved version for AoU and this one is an exclusive which means it could go up in value as well. So even if you don't like the figure, you could try and sell it to buy the AoU and maybe make a tiny profit.

Mine's still in it's shipper because I might want to sell it and get the armored version, which I heard people recommend more after they released.

It's 50/50 on the AoU. I can only see them making one Thor, the question is which one will it be.

Well, to be fair, DX12 wasn't an exclusive, nor did it have an exclusive item. And it's Bale Batman. It's always just a matter of time when it gets remade.

Has anyone yet on sideshow wish list recently got their Thor I went on the list about two weeks ago and now I feel I may have missed out on this?

I know I can pick one up on evilbay but the prices are silly. If I have missed it I was think of kit bashing one. Does anyone know what body would suit this figure. I bought the mms175 thor body but in hand it looks like it doesn't have the bulk in the chest as the new one. Is the new thor body a ttm20 body with rubber arms or is it completely new.
