Really tempted by this version, really worried about the issue with the arms though. Looks like a stunning figure though, tempted to pick it up along with a Loki.

Is there any QC issues with the normal version or is it just this one?

I believe both version have issues. But, not sure what type....

I can assure you that both eyes are equal in shading (at least on my copy). Light source is coming from the left of the picture, if that helps. I don't have the Avengers Thor but I've seen it in person, and I think the Dark World's face sculpt comes closer to Hemsworth's likeness, flaring nostrils and all. I also prefer the tied back hair vs the side-parted flowy hair of the former. To each his own.

Yes I believe it does

Under normal lighting I never really even notice the weathering.

LOL, I agree, which is why I did a total weathering and subtle repaint on mine. Really makes the details pop and gives it more life and realism.

I'm glad you like customizing the figures, Jazz. I have to say tough that I'm not so sure Thor is the best canvas. I dunno, the others you did look much better. Nice job on the face cuts though.

A friend of mine helped me mod Thors head into the first movie's helmet. I think it looks absolutely sick now!

I read that it kept falling off while they were shooting the first movie so they abandoned the idea.
