1/6 Hot Toys-MMS 236-TDK Armory (with Batman, Alfred, and Bruce Wayne Figures)

I thought Bruce Wayne is just a repaint, not a redesign (not a new sculpt).

I don't know one way other the other for sure, I'm just relaying the information on the product page. But… I'll know in for sure in October or November.

That's what they said on their facebook page when they first announced this. It sure looks the same in that video.

Here is what it says on the specs on the first page of this thread.

"Newly painted head sculpt with authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight "

You're right, it says the same thing on Hot Toys own "Details" section of the product page. The text I grabbed came from the product page on Sideshow's site. It would be nice if it ended up being a new sculpt, but I won't be heartbroken if it's not.

Oh I was wondering where you got it from, yeah I wouldn't trust what sideshow says.

It would be nice if it ended up being a new sculpt, but I won't be heartbroken if it's not.

According to the specs they may be tweaking it.

"Movie-accurate facial features with detailed wrinkles and skin texture"

So they may be more detailed than the DX12 sculpt.

It's hard to tell for sure from the video, but I think you're right. The eyes look a little smaller than the DX12.

The eyes do look a bit better there but I think Hydeous said he saw the set in person and they look the same as the DX12.

Does anyone have a pic of the new belt and the grapple gun holder?

I don't think there's any pictures of the grapple gun holder on the belt, but you can see it with all the other bits and pieces attached to the back of the armoury. The new belt is just the one one the suit, and all the little trinkets can attach to it.

Oh yeah, that's true, I don't think he specifically mentioned it was Ledger actually. But I think the fact that he was talking about the DX01 and then the 2.0 and then said they wanted to do another seems a good indication he was talking about doing another Ledger. Then again who knows with Hot Toys.

I wonder if the Joker he was referring to was Ceasar Romaro's 66 Joker. Considering they've done a good job with Nicholson's Joker and Mime Joker, 66 seems logical.

Haha, I was just thinking, wouldn't it have been interesting if he moved his old Begins suit into that armory in the bunker since it's assumed Bane tossed his new one..... it is a stronger, more resistant armor, even though it makes him slower, but against Bane, didn't really seem like speed was a factor but rather brawn, so it could've been like his "Knightfall" armor... haha, probably a stupid idea, my mind tends to drift... LOL

it looks awesome! Pre-ordered the whole set as well - my first Batman piece....but the wait until it arrives!

Yeah I got that, doesn't change anything for me though. This is my first batman piece though so I'm still excited. Plus in the end of TDKR when bruce returns. The armory he uses is this one. Not the clear one that was seen earlier in the movie.

I just stole the suit from my Kit Bashed Bruce Wayne to use for a custom Clark Kent... so I may be easily swayed to get this set afterall.... need to think on it!
